Maybe off to Napoli on loan...Thought we'd need him because we've got many games to play.

That's ridiculous if it turns out to be true. What was the point in bringing him in if 6 months later and after about 10 minutes of football we loan him out. That and signing a keeper we don't even need is a joke tbh.

He didn’t look lean when he came, a little over weight and he hasn’t really caught up since he has been injured most of the season. Seems a waste though and surely he would come in handy in the second half of the season.

If he doesn't get game time in EFL or FA cup then he never will.

Thought he looked pretty good when he came on and could have had a hat trick.

I think he looks like he could shift a few pounds. Looks a bit heavy to me.

Starting to look like we've signed a dud here.

Can't force his way into the first team for the league or key games. And when he gets his change against Plymouth, he struggles to have an impact or beat his man.

I guess the £10m or so quick we paid for him isn't a big deal, but his £100k wages are.

Also worries what process was in place when it came to scouting this guy.

I can't agree. He was bad today but so were Diaz and Jota. They received nothing upfront and that's not their fault. The inexperienced midfield couldn't control the game (not their fault tbh at that age) and the forwards were feeding off scraps. Not saying Chiesa is otherwise a world beater but this isn't the game for a proper judgment.

When we do buy players in the summer, Slot the committee or whoever Is involved must agree collectively. If one party is not keen on a player then there is no point buying.

Clearly chiesa isn't rated, Slot sees something we don't, hence why his limited time.

13 M ain't much but 4 year contract for 120k!!!

Personally I think his a good direct player that could help us but Slot knows more and sees it different I guess. I would've loved to see him rotate with Salah or the other lads. His down the pecking order, I doubt will see him play, maybe in pointless games once we've won the title.

That FA cup game has seemed to have killed all his chances. He wasn't the only one that was poor, the others were shyte also.

I wanted this one to work out, because I remember when he was killing it in Italy. But he’s been very average.

Yes, a few of our big names were poor against Plymouth, but they’ve at least delivered in the past.

Chiesa hasn’t delivered anything. And he was comically bad against Plymouth, failing to beat his man or do anything of note.

He’s yet another Italian player who’s failed to deliver at Liverpool.

Well done lad, scored a good goal and showed why he should've been getting more mins, giving a sweet egg on face moment.

We need to get back to winning ways v Everton... our tight fisted owners have ensured our players are running their blood to water again.
If our lead was around 5- 6 points I would have zero confidence we would win the PL from here... no more hiccups or slip ups . Slot needs to use one or more of Chiesa Elliot and Endo as starters in a couple of games as well.

I personally don’t care if Mo leaves, probably better in the long term. We do need to replace Nunez as I gave him all the benefit of doubt but I have to admit he’s average. Going to be an interesting run in and an even more interesting summer. I’m happy they can find replacements as they did well in finding a manager and a whole midfield last season. We do not have any world class forwards except for Mo but he hasn’t looked world class for a while despite his numbers this year. He’s lost the speed and desire frankly. Liverpool always has world class attackers but this year we don’t and we don’t seem to have anyone of that caliber coming through the ranks.

So easy for Liverpool supporters to be negative right now and since we don’t play for two weeks it will only fester, we are a great side though and we can focus solely on the holy grail which is the league title. Not the way we wanted it but how can any of us complain about the team that has a 12 point lead in the premier league with 9 matches to go. Boys need a mental break so this international break probably comes at a good time. We lost a heartbreaking tie in the CL by a whisker then played a final a few days later, boys look spent.

There is nothing to be negative about THIS season. Next season could be a nightmare though

Salah might leave
VVD might leave
Trent might leave
Konate has 1 year left and wants to go to PSG
Robertson has one year left and is done as a top left back
Tsimikas might leave
Gomez might leave

We will almost get NOTHING for these players and FSG will not open the wallet.

Delighted for the lad today to get his goal. Got on the end of a nice through ball and quick shift of the feet and scores!! Puzzling as to why he has been so underused. Ridiculous amount of time wasted by VAR for nothing. Killed the buzz of it tbh.

FSG won't be spending a fortune in the summer without making it first.
