Great team performance. Fabulous goal from Cody. Shame that Connor has gone off with a suspected hamstring injury.

FT: Liverpool 2-0 Real Madrid

...a 3-0 or 4-0 would scoreline better reflect our dominance of this game. iirc Real had no shot on target all night, up until the injury time

Jones > Bellingham
Macca > Modric
Konate > Mbappe
Mo had an off night today

Konate didn’t look good going off at the end of the game. Just hope it’s not to serious.

Great game by our lads, our fantastic form continues. Finally we win against this lot.

Macca motm, was fantastic in midfield as was Gravenberch against a very strong Real midfield with Modric, Camavinga and Bellingham in there, not easy to play against that.

My only concern is the two injuries, Bradley and Konate. With Trent due to return I guess we can afford to lose Connor for a few games but losing Konate will be a big blow.

Great performance and a real marker put down for the football world. I thought Jones played well and the team were well worth their win. Konate going off didn’t look good as we will certainly need him against City. I thought it was a cheap couple of fouls on him by Endrik that got him injured.

Gravenberch’s was very solid again against world class players, Klopp must be scratching his head as to how he couldn’t utilize him better. A prime example of how moneyball can be effective. He is the difference between last year and this.

I hope we are not peaking too early though, you really need to play like this in March to win the title and you cannot effectively stay on your peak all season.

Ridiculous as it seems, I don't think we have quite gotten the hang of slot ball yet, and therefore we haven't peaked... scary for the oppo  :buttrock

Looks like a hammie for Bradley and will miss quite a few games between now and the new year.
Pity, but he was phenomenal v RMA

We might regret not replacing Matip, Gomez can only be on the field once at a time...
