Great performance and result against good opponents. Well done to our lads, we're really flying high atm. Crowd did a good job in creating an atmosphere which really made a difference too. Hopefully we keep going like this until the end of the season.

City on the other hand getting spanked by Sporting. They're a decent team in all honesty, Amorim has done a good job with them, but still very unlike City to get beat like that. They're in freefall at the moment, hope it continues in the league as well.

Offer a cheeky swap - Captain Chaos for Gyokeres?  :grinning:

In all honesty, Nunez is brainless. Twice he took the wrong decision at the business end of the pitch when we outnumbered them. He just, simply, does, not, get it.

Very strange response imo from Slot. You'd think he'd praise the keeper a bit more. Granted he had little to do but his saves in the last few minutes were top class. Rarely puts a foot wrong. He makes me nervous with the time he takes before passing the ball, and looks like he's about to be caught

On Kelleher future: "That's in the future. Jaros is doing well and we have another goalkeeper as well. What I like about today is we only needed him five minutes from the end. We're hard to play through but sometimes they play through the press. I like the work rate of the players."

Alot of positives again tonight. I think Slot definitely takes the first half to control as much of the game as he can while analysing and looking where we can hurt them in the 2nd half. Every game we up the tempo and take more risks in the 2nd half.

I thought Lucho struggled physically as a no9, but he never gave up. He made some great runs, and his build up play was alot better than Darwins. I'd carry on trying him as a striker for the foreseeable.

Santa, I think Lucho saw your post buddy lol.

Good second half, we upped the pace and made it difficult for them. Another great result!!!

We take our time to get going but once we do hit top gear we look some outfit, that first goal was a thing of beauty, terrific second half performance and result.

Yup we do tend to look shaky at the first phase but typically get better as the game goes on. We just need to be more composed.

Didn't expect us to smash them 4-0, I was doubting our UCL chances this season, however things look promising.

Next game against Real, I want revenge, due a victory against them.

Along with others I'm surprised but delighted with a 4-0 result. Honestly thought it was going to be harder.
On the games so far under Slott , I get the feeling he likes to play "Rope a Dope" , boxing fans will appreciate the Muhammad Ali reference.
Starts by keeping it tight and controlled, has a look at what the oppo has to offer and then Boom ! Makes the required response  :buttrock

Maybe doesn't have Jurgens charisma but deffo knows what he's doing  :bowdown

Agree, he seems to study the opposition in the first half then react in the second. His interview last night after the game was insightful to his analytical way of approaching the game. He's a sharp cookie.

If you think Jones is talented, you're seriously misguided. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

He clearly is talented - that’s why Klopp played him and why Slot also plays him now and why he has been called up for England
