As others have mentioned sounds like we took our foot off the pedal a bit second half but after last week the important thing was getting the show back on the road and banking those 3 points.
Good to see Darwin putting himself about, getting on the scoresheet and looking a bit more like his old self again too. Been a decent 4 or 5 days, the manager, players and staff have done a good job of bouncing back.

Shout out to Kelleher too. He's a top goalie and would have been our no.1 if one of the best goalies in the world (if not the best) wasn't also in our team. I kinda feel sad for him, he's too good to be a no.2, but good thing we kept him with us even if it's just for one more season.

I still don't know why we bought that Georgian lad considering the 2 goalies we have now.

Great result. Yes it could have been different given Bournemouth’s propensity to get something out of the game. Our midfield certainly continues to impress. Diaz playing slightly further inside seems to be having the desired effect. Great to see Darwin score an amazing goal. He now needs to build on that performance. Great start to the season. The Forest result after the International break being the only element of frustration.

Yeah strange one that, we've forked out a good few quid for this Georgian lad as well which suggests he's not just coming here to make up the numbers which is how Kelleher has clearly read it too.
Initially i thought Kelleher had told the club behind the scene's he wanted out which is why we went for this Georgian lad but Kelleher said in that press conference he did that he hadnt mentioned anything to the club about leaving until after, i repeat - after, he heard about the Georgian coming. He also confirmed that the Georgian's imminent arrival is the reason he now wants to leave. FSG clearly playing 3D chess again like the time they sold Carroll and left us without a centre forward for 6 months.
Why is the club creating problems in an area of the team where there werent any? This Georgian had better be the second coming of Lev Yashin or its going to look like a huge eff up. Upsetting a top keeper like Kelleher for nothing.

Mamadashvilli is one for the future - he was sent straight out on loan and will prob spend next season on loan in prem as well

In 2 years time when Alisson goes back to Brazil we will have him there to take over - Kelleher will need to decide if he wants to wait to have the chance to battle for that top spot or leave in the summer

If he leaves then Jaros who is also very promising will get the chance to take that no 2 spot

If Kelleher is “upset” by that then maybe he doesn’t have the mental strength

It’s no different to when Chelsea had Cech but got Courtois in then sent on loan

Kelleher is a very good keeper though, why did we spend 11m on Endo when we were desperate for a quality DM but 30m on a keeper you reckon yourself probably wont play for us for another 2 years and may never even become our number 1.
Over the last half a century plus i've seen plenty of highly rated keepers come here and fold under the pressure, when we signed David James from Watford he was being touted as the next Gordon Banks. Kelleher is not only a very good Keeper he's proven over the last 3 - 4 years that the shirt is not too heavy for him. As i said this Georgian lad had better be outstanding or its going to look like a case of FSG playing 3D chess again, coming here and being decent isnt going to be good enough, we've already got a very good keeper here in Kelleher, we've already got better than decent now, to justify upsetting the apple cart and creating problems where they dont exist this Georgian lad needs to be like Clemo.

Wait, why would Alisson go to Brazil in 2 years? He's never said that. Actually he said he wants to extend his contract with us just recently and I don't see why we wouldn't do that. He's only 31 and he can easily play at the very top level for AT LEAST 5 more years. Most top goalies, like van der Sar, Petr Cech, Peter Schmeichel, Jens Lehman, Bufon etc all went on to play at a high level until their late 30s and retired in their 40s. Neur still going strong at 38 right now. We should definitely offer Alisson a new 4 year contract next season and keep him at least until he's 36, the age van der Sar went to Man U. If we don't, he won't be going to Brazil that's for sure.

Mamardashvili is a good keeper but we simply have no need for him, we have 2 fantastic keepers in our squad right now and there are more pressing postions where we needed to spend money. Signing a goalie considering the two we currently have then like Yakka said he'd need to be the second coming of Lev Yashin to justify the purchase.

Thanks for that but found one just after I posted.

Good win and another clean sheet. Have to say I've been impressed with Konate and his fitness so far and not to mention Diaz with the finishing!! Nunez took his goal well and also was clever in the build up with that header. Just needs to replicate it more often.

What does Endo a signing last summer under different management have to do with signing Mamadashvilli this summer - its irrelevant

Kelleher is not only a very good Keeper he's proven over the last 3 - 4 years that the shirt is not too heavy for him.

And it may well be the time for Kelleher to move on and be the main gk as opposed to sitting the bench for years ? Is he going to wait around for 2/3 seasons ?
As i said this Georgian lad had better be outstanding or its going to look like a case of FSG playing 3D chess again, coming here and being decent isnt going to be good enough, we've already got a very good keeper here in Kelleher, we've already got better than decent now, to justify upsetting the apple cart and creating problems where they dont exist this Georgian lad needs to be like Clemo.

What’s 3D chess ?

And since when did FSG start being the ones picking which players arrive ?

This was a decision made by Edwards and Hughes

What “problems” have been created ?

Mamadashvilli is one of the highest rated young GKs in European football and the club snapped him up as part of succession planning - when Alisson does decide to move on then we potentially will have one of the best ready to step in

Kelleher is a cracking keeper and would be No 1 keeper in 90% of EPL clubs so when we bought the Georgian lad it was probably in expectation that he's leaving. I wish him every success because he should playing first team footie every week, not waiting for Alisson to leave. We'll get at least what we paid for the Georgian so good business. We have 3 excellent keepers.
