Injury and fitness issues aside . No doubt the fella is a talented player BUT aside from Ravanelli (who played for 'Boro) I can't think of any Italian player who has been a success playing for a club outside of London. . Maybe you guys will remind me of some I've forgotten ?

I've got a less than enthusiastic feeling about this move. Is he just a quick fill in for Salah who is in the last year of his contract ?

Can't think of too many either Woof. I did like the look of Tonali before he was caught and banned. I do like the look of Chiesa, watched him closely when he played in the Euros and he was one of the few to put in a shift.
Are the end of the day, what we got for Morton pays for the transfer, though he's allegedly on 200K per week.
I hope he's a success.
I don't think he's a replacement for Mo, you'd have to hope the club and those Muppets they hired have a plan for Mo, VVD and TAA. This time 12 months I think all will have to be replaced. Timing wasn't great though with the Euros this summer to replace all three
