Liverpool FC Forum

Well its been a few years since I've been here. A lot has changed since my last post in 2015.

I left being active here in the summer before Jurgen Klopp arrived. I like many of us, felt frustrated, and realised I had to focus on my kids a bit more than the forum so decided to take some time off. Never thought it would be 8 years. 

But what an 8 years, even after this season. I have a family of three boys now, two of which are LFC mad (oldest is the exception and isn't a footy fan at all).

Will look to get back involved over the summer and reconnect with some old buddies. Nuts to think I joined here the season of 2005 - and what a season that whas. Maybe an omen for my return 

That's a great update SCS, yes, amazing how our lives have changed over the course of this forum. I have 3 kids now as well, eldest 14 - I coach our boys football and we both love it. I was on my honeymoon trying to find out if Stevie was leaving liverpool in 2005!

Welcome back SCS, my daughter has been conceived, born and now finishing her A levels since I have been on this forum lol.

Nice to see you back SCS and even better to hear you are doing so well, us old timers can sadly remember instances on these boards where that hasn’t always been the case.

Welcome back SCS…19+ years flew by for me

Wished I could celebrate the day with Everton at the Championship but 

Cheers all. Great to hear from so many familiar names.

Time's a wonderful thing. I rememebr getting so worked up about football and having to share my frustrations. But what a learning exeprience, and never regreat those years. I still am as passionate as eve about LFC, just a little more patient than before. My and my middle boy (soon to be 13) can't wait for the next season. Fortunately I managed to take him to Anfield right before lock down in Nov 2019 - vs Newcastle in our title winning year.
