I'm guessing he starts in a strong side. His clearance went through a few days ago and he's been training since.
4 days recovery since Brentford and we have no midweek game next week so I'm guessing Klopp will go for his strongest side. Probably Alisson, Trent, Matip, Konate, Robertson, Fabinho, Henderson, Thiago, Gakpo, Nunez, Salah.
Does the strength of Klopp’s team selection suggest that priorities have suddenly changed. Elliot not starting is a plus. The lad needs more time and less pressure to develop. Gakpo has joined at a difficult time and it will be interesting to see how he copes.Let’s face it he has been playing in a very poor league compared to the Premiership. His stats are great but I’m sure he will things more difficult in a league that has numerous high quality teams. I’ll also be interested to see how Konate and Matip work together on what coul be a partnership for several matches to come.

That ball and finish was absolutely delightful. Not been impressed again so far though.. the midfield looking sluggish once again unfortunately. I love all 3 of them, but they are really struggling with the amount of games and and the intensity of them. One of them will get injured if we carry on running them into the ground.
Have to say I agree with RTID and RS never an offside for me, he was offside in the build up but he was back on when the ball from which he scored was played in .We got lucky there. In the old days when anyone got a slice of luck like that in the FA Cup people used to say their name is on the trophy, let’s hope so.
