I work in IT. VoIP means Voice over Internet Protocol.
They were being given away as promotional gifts, so I swiped two of them. Worth £60.00 each. They plug into your PC via USB and you can call any land line in UK, USA, Ireland, France, Germany, Belgium, Nethrelands, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
Your voice is treated as data packets by your broadband line. As far as your PC is concerned, it's normal data, but to the other person on another PC, land line or mobile, it a crystal clear conversation. I've got it sussed. Get onto it while you can.
