rooney's just a kid who got too wound up in his own bad mood and doesn't really know any better. though this MUST be the time for some serious education.

Alot of people are to blame for Rooney, he is either going to become one of the best players england have seen in a long time, or go off the rails and become another Gazza.
In my opinion he should have stayed at everton a few more years Moyes took him under his wing and most of the time spoke for him, but fergies got to many superstars there to be worrying about him.
And the rivalry between liverpool and manure, with the scouser chants if I was him id be sorry I ever step foot in that place.
He shouldnt have flung the armband no, nor sold his story to the sun.
I do not blame him I blame the money grabbing people around him, for letting him make all these mistakes.
I didnt know what planet I was on at 18 im sure the same goes for him, and men are always 4 years behind when it comes down to maturity.

Owen was never like this. He made the same money and broke the same records. He was an example however to professionalism.

Yep totally true when he came back to the dugout in his suit he had a bottle of beer in his hand ???
Hes always in nightclubs with other players where as owen was a pure profetional and tea total and still is.
But Rooney is a manc now out an out manc.
He can behave like this when he plays for manure but I dont want him in an england shirt performing like this.
Its a disgrace to my country.

He has no excuse because he is honoring not just a former Red, but an England Captain. Rooney is disgracefull, and it does not surprise me he plays in Manure.

His age should be no excuse what so ever Defoe is young Jenas in young . Owen played in world cups while younger than Fat boy  For my thoughts on this see my        'Fat Petulant Pikey' topic
