You can’t help but feel, particularly given the way things have gone for us lately, that all these missed chances will come back to bite us on the @rse.
Fab and Thiago look great in MF though, as others have said we are playing well.

Playing much better tonight and it's down to Fab playing in midfield again

Only thing letting us down now is the finishing. We should be 2 up and the game over.

I placed a 10 quid bet on us to win the competition...

We're at the point where, by the nature of the club, it's possible to pull off a miracle, but not so realistic that the odds make it pointless to bet on.

Of course this could backfire spectacularly in the second half.

To be fair to you mate you’ve long advocated playing the likes of Fab and Hendo in their natural positions and just letting the likes of Phillips, Kabak, William’s etc get on with it.

They are defenders specialised in one thing. Fab isn't and while he could do a job there your only getting 60% of his ability.  Massive difference in our play and from those around him when he is in midfield.

Good to see Jurgen getting all hyped up again. It's not surprising that putting players in their proper position has resulted in more assurance at the back. Some proper old school interceptions by Phillips, he's got to start every game from now on. I know there's been a lot of false dawns but it seems we've picked our balls back up tonight. I've been impressed with our pressing play - we haven't given them a chance to get into a rhythm at all. I just hope we can keep up the momentum vs wolves.
