Yeah things might not have been so bad if Matip, gomez, ox and keita stayed fit but that was never going to happen. They wont be any better next year and they will still be here.
All our signings are based on value for money, none of them were superstars coming here so it's up to klopp to make them into that. They dont help him by scraping the bottom of the barrel looking for the next messi under 2 million quid with 20% up front and the rest in 5 years.
But but but we wont make any money till we get the super league we are so hell bent on pushing for

as bad as the glazers

Is Thiago not a superstar ? What about VVD ? Allison ?
Are people really starting to be critical of our recruitment now ?
What was a better signing Jota or Werner - which one was supposed to be the “superstar”
The club works to a model - one that has helped the club get back to the top - we can’t spend like City or Chelsea and we won’t put debt on the club like UTD so the club will always look to get the best value for the players.
What sort of player should we have signed in the summer and with what money ?
Thiago is world class and has been playing for a big club winning things. He has proven himself before he came here but none of the rest have. They all came from lower clubs to make it here which a few of them succeeded in, but plenty didnt.
Our recruitment is done by an exec with some algorithym and a laptop. Armed with a copy of fifa he sets out to save money by scouring the lower leagues all over europe to find someone the laptop says is on the up.
Your bigging up a player who we had for 2 months. Yes he's decent but so is Werner. Very early for both players to be hailed as any sort of success but hey Diogo is our player so Werner is shyte.
The club works to a model heavilly based on money ball tactics.
So what exactly is the Moneyball strategy? The foundation of this entire approach is the statistic on base percentage, overvalue, and undervalue. The Moneyball thesis is to get players from other teams that are undervalued and to get rid of players who demand high payment and/or are overvalued.Jun 6, 2018
. Does this not sound like us? Even though Henry carries a serious erection for Beane you will deny that any of this happens here.
The difference between you and me is that you love the owners more than the club. These are among the richest people in sports organisations but force austerity on the club. All thats important to them is the $$$$$$$. So much so that they want to pull the club from english football for the rewards of the super european league. They will say they need to do it to grow the club and people like yourself will trot that narrative across the forums.
What we should have done last season was move on the deadwood that's like a weight around our necks at the minute. But like you said yourself "with what Money" . It made better financial sense to keep them and that will always be the way. Finance first and Football after that.
