That aside if we turn up we should win this comfortably, we didn't play well on Wednesday, that's why we made heavy weather of it, let's not make the same mistake again, let's add this thing to the super cup already on our sideboard and get back to the real business of trying to win our first league title in 30 years.

Must admit the "robust " tackling from latin american sides concerns me and in the game against Monterey the ref from Chile did little to protect our players. Anyone know who is refereeing the final ?
Flamengo have been winning everything in their home country and are of course South American champions but I believe we have more than enough quality beat them.

Just read that the Ref and his two assistants are all from Qatar, hopefully that might work in our favour 

Just been reading in the paper that there was a terrible fire in an accommodation block at Flamengo's academy earlier in the year and 10 young lads died, Flamengo's players are saying they want to win this trophy so they can dedicate it to the memory of the lads that perished. These are going to be so up for this game our players won't believe it.

That’s terrible Yakka. And yes I’m sure they’ll be up for it but let’s face it Klopp’s record in finals is something both himself and the team will want to put behind them. We are fielding an incredibly strong attacking side. Fear not we will be up for this and I expect an all out blitz.
