I know this goes against all that is politically correct but i have real issue with how we are force fed women’s football and it is presented as entertaining and worth watching. I always dismissed it previously but when England played the US team, i thought I’d watch it so I could make a proper assessment and see how it has evolved and frankly I was disappointed with how poor it was. The players were organized yes, they were fit enough sure but it was so obvious that the speed that the ball travelled, the power, the speed that the players were running was pedestrian, especially after watching Copa America or the African cup.
I then see the US women’s team dancing and celebrating today live on CNN like they conquered the world and suggesting that they should get paid the same as the US men’s team as they are world champions and the men’s team only reached the last 16

It’s not that i am anti women playing sports as i think it is great, i just don’t want to be force fed it on sky news/sports or CNN. If my daughter was playing i would certainly watch and support her but that would be because I would be personally invested, not because it is good football. Bottom line it is “soft programming” and someone upstairs in corporate media decided they want this and they will push their narrative.
I was watching an old James Bond (cant remember which) and Sean Connery didn’t like the pretty woman’s reaction to him and gave her a slap across the face and she quickly improved her attitude (as you do) I was shocked, zoom forward a few decades and he is now taking orders from women and being rescued by them (soft programming). Women in movies are constantly beating men up nowadays, like it is normal. This is designed so that if you watch it enough it becomes the reality, which is a false narrative (and dangerous for women), women and men cannot compete physically when both are equally trained. No doubt a well trained fit woman could compete with and even easily beat an unfit man, put them on equal footing however and it would be one sided.
Not really a rant as at the end of the day as I can choose to not watch, its just I don’t have time for sub-standard and I don’t want it to be presented as anything but. We have reached the point that just saying what I’m saying will show me as sexist or an old thinking dinosaur but its clear..... Women’s football is cr@p
