i agree that baros is a much improved player this season. but EVERY time he runs at the box i'm screaming "shoooot for f**s sake!!". rafa needs to get him shooting on sight and not trying too many touches all the time.

Had he not had run at the box we wouldn't had gotten the penalties. :D

don't get me wrong - i LOVE the way he's running into the box these days. i think he genuinly scares defenders now (especially after yesterdays game getting 2 penos off 'em!). but i think he tries to do too much when he's there sometimes. i think he could score even more if he shot more often. we know he's got a fierce boot on him.

That's when we appreciate his selfish play actually. Perhaps he read too much reports on his selfish play and decide to pass instead of shooting. :)

hmmm if he does become the man to fill owens boots then one has to wonder whats going to happen when cisse comes back since most of his goals he has actually scored when cisse isnt playing

I just got back from Liverpool, after attending the game at Anfield, and first of all I wanna say that I haven`t "landed" yet. What an atmosphere.. after our third goal I got the taste of blood in my mouth from cheering

I`ve allready started saving money for the next trip over..

I just wanted to comment on what`s said about Josemi. Imo he started this campaign well, when linked up with Finnan on the right. Obviously, he ****** up a couple of times on Sat., but he didn`t seem to get much help from our right winger when defending. In comparison, Traore and Riise seemed to have full control on our left, by coevring for each other both in the offencive and defencive game.

I also want to say that I`m astonished by the way Carra has raised his game this season. Milan Baros, the facts speaks for itself; What a performance. Who can blame the lad for not passing the ball or not shooting, when the outcome is three goals.

although palace put up a good battle (and have been recently in other matches), i feel that the current lfc side is producing some of the best football seen in years at anfield. It was also nice to see the black armbands still being worn for legendary crazyhorse. Milan still has a lot to learn in the game, but nonetheless his performance along with the rest of the lads was reminiscent of last minute winners seen in the 70s and 80s teams of old : great stuff boys.

bring on Nunez and a fit again stevie gerrard and were off to glory

oh, a bit of advice to Garcia - be a bit more aggressive and not so lightweight in tackles and in the air. No ones gonna hurt your face, apart from that, he's a quality addition. Long live the glory at Liverpool fc

good point mate, I have been pondering whether Rafa may gice Finna a go at Right midfield for this reason to give some cover to Josemi who is a bit suspect at the back at the moment.

May not be a bad idea with quality attacking players like Downing and Zenden coming down the left flank.

I watched the Boro, West Brom game yesterday, Boro looked ok
But we made them look ordinary the other week
agree about some cover for Josemi though - he made a good impact on arrival - but seems to still be findin his feet a bit
I like his know nosense tackling - with him and carragher at the back
got to make some strikers think "mmm don't fancy that challenge" - which is what we want

We definitely need another centre Back

My point exactly. I also sense that if Josemi is linked up with one willing to take part in the defencive game, like Finnan, his contribution in the offencive game could be allowed. The first matches in the Liverpool-shirt Josemi seemed really keen on attacking, but now he hardly seems to cross the midfield-line. A pity if you ask me ???

josemi at times seems to struggle, maybe his fitness is somewhat lacking, or that he is finding the pace of the english game a little too demanding
