Belgium were my pre-touney favourites.  Also a team that I could stomach England losing to in the final, should we get there....

Poor show from Belgium today. Didn't look like scoring tbh.

  Game didn't live up to expectations, given the quality in their squad the Belgians were very disappointing.

France will win the cup i can't see Crotia or England beating them.

Agree on paper however apart from last night they haven't had any tough games have they?

Tend to agree, BUT this world cup has thrown up some unexpected results

Well Done Dejan hope you lift the trophy. England done well this time but wasn't enough i guess.

England's done well at this WC and they should be proud of themselves. They have done better than the golden generation team. Last night in 2nd half though they lost the plot abit. Southgate was kinda naive with strategy. Once the croatians got back into the game, he should've strengthened the midfield.

Damn shame and while England should be proud of their efforts

I don't think they would ever have better chance than this competition where the stars aligned to get rid of most of the heavyweights

As is the norm England wilted at the time they thought they had a chance and the media hype and built up expectations finally took their toll. When I woke up to  Skynews wearing vests ( even the woman) I knew we were in trouble, do that sh1t after you win the final not before the semifinal. At the end of the day they were not good enough, a team of runners without a clever player in the team. Big mistake making Kane captain as he was a little selfish and should have put the team before his personal glory as well as the fact he can't even speak properly, Hendo was much more a captain in the team than Kane.

Best thing now is for Croatia to win the WC as that would have the best impact on Liverpool next year in my opinion.
