Good half. Two good interchanges between Firmino and Salah. Only concerning issue is Southampton have had quite a few chances. VVD, Salah and Firminho have been the stand out players thus far.
Can and Mane have been non existent, I would swap Can for Llalana second half.

, we seemed to take our foot off the gas after the first goal, maybe just conserving energy ? , it did allow Southampton back into the game and they did have their chances.

Just need a sensible second half with no room for complacency.

Don't forget Karius, he was probably our best player that half.

Not been at our swaggering best but lethal in final third, so far Karius doing ok and I emphasise so far

Agreed. It's a good thing Southampton's finishing has been poor. We need to stay focused.

The situation where VVD shouted at everyone when no one attacked the ball in our box (it was offside but still) is the highlight of our awful defending. It appears as if no one apart from Virgil knows how to f*cking defend properly! Karius has been pretty good today as well.

No need to mention our amazing attack of course, business as usual from Bobby and Mo. Mane still needs to step it up though.
