Mignolet - 7 - good save first half but hardly had anything else to do
Clyne - 7.5 - good game, up and down the pitch the whole match and this was his 50th match for us! Hardly looked tired
Lovren - 8 - from mister floppy to mister dependable
Toure - 7.5 - was a bit erratic but good game overall and did his job
Moreno - 6 - probably the player with the lowest IQ there. Could have costed us the game if he conceded the pen
Can - 8 - never put a foot wrong, hardly missed a pass or lost a duel. Amazing run for the first goal
Milner - 8 - didn't score or assist but was everywhere and first to every ball
Lallana - 8 - hard work, a lot of pressing, the usual Lallana stuff, plus the goal
Coutinho - 7.5 - showed some skills and sprayed the ball nicely
Firmino - 8 - finally getting out of that poor run of form, very good game today and showed his skills
Sturridge - 7 - scored, did his job

Lallana - 7.5 - didn't get involved until the latter parts of the game, but did well
Firmino - 9 - motm for me. the Villareal defense couldn't handle him
Coutinho - 7.5 - lively and creative without the final skill
Sturridge - 7 - Finally showed some energy, but how wasteful can you be?

Milner - 8.0 - you get what's written on the can, 100% effort. Brings maturity to the MF
Lallana - 7.0 - good work rate but not a stand out player - seems to be his style
Firmino - 8.0 - excellent, but will he turn up for the final?
Coutinho - 7.0 - tricky and adds to the pressure when defenders have 2-3 class players to cope with
Sturridge - 7.0 - Mr Wasteful, if he'd passed we could have had 3 more

Lallana - 7 - worked hard, covered ground and scored a goal. Should have had more but for poor finishing.
Coutinho - 7.5 - Good game, his slick passing opened them up. Worked hard defensively
Firmino - 8.5 - My MOM. Was instrumental in the tree goals and ran all over the pitch.
Sturridge - 7 - scored, could have had three. Happy to see him celebrate the goal with the team rather than on his own with the stupid dance.

Moreno - 5 - we have two blockheads in defense, Moreno and Skrtle... I don't know what he was thinking with his push in the penalty box
Can - 7 - good comeback from injury, very steady
Milner - 8 - wow... what a transformation this guy is making...
Lallana - 7 - his usual self... always involved but not very deadly
Firmino - 8 - wow...did anyone see the spin move he did on Villareal's RB? probably the best game i've seen him play
Coutinho - 7 - abit too slow for his standard... but grew into the game. Late 2nd half he was very good.
Sturridge - 8 - you shouldn't drop him when he's fit. A difference maker, a world class striker.

Mignolet - 8 - made another couple of really good saves, been very good of late
Flanagan - 7 - did well, nice and solid on his come back game
Skrtel - 7 - did really well, no mistakes today
Lucas - 6 - did ok
Moreno - 7 - put in a hard working performance
Allen - 8 - did really well in there and bagged a rare goal
Stewart - 8.5 - my man of the match, big fan of this kid, hope he doesn't get pushed out for big names in summer

Ojo - 6 - did ok, has real pace, would like to see more end product, I remain a big fan
Coutinho - 7 - had a decent game
Benteke - 5 - wasted quite a few chances

Mignolet - 8 Pulled a proper world class save out of the bag to  keep us in the game
Flanagan - 6 Was beaten on his inside more than a few times, but overall kept it simple 
Skrtel - 8 Big Martin showed why in certain games having a no nonsense defender can be the difference in keeping a clean sheet ,his application was first class 
Lucas - 8 Thought he acquitted himself well in the CB position ,reads the game at the back in a similar vein to  Carragher.   
Moreno - 7 His best defensive game for a while ,kept his flank well covered all game. 
Allen - 6 Got the goal ,but a bit sloppy with the ball at his feet ,I think he's rushing his play too much trying to adapt to 90 mile an hour football .
Stewart - 6 Tidy enough ,but doesn't have the ability  to really impose himself on the opposition
Ibe - 4 Decision making is appalling for a player taxed with providing service from the wing .
Ojo - 6 The lad looks a talent and always beats his man ,just needs to work on his crossing.
Coutinho - 7 I thought Coutz was running out of ideas by the 20 min mark ,never really attempted to bring Benteke into the game. 
Benteke - 6 Good knock down ,and was on the end of some astute through balls from Firmino ,but should have scored from Brannagan's delightful cross.

Firmino 8 Intelligent player who creates chances out of nothing and links the play up well when he's on the pitch.
Brannagan 8 For the limited time he was on he never put a foot wrong ,and his sweeping cross for Benteke highlighted the lads talent , big future ,and the Kop love him.
