The 50 nominations include rubbish such as barthez,beckham and scholes. :angry:

What have they done over the last 12 months

Gerrard last season was the best midfielder in the prem lge yet doesn't even make the list.

It is supposed to be EUROPEAN player of the year yet there are many south americans in the list. :laugh:

From the list my top 3 would be Henry,Ronaldinho and Shevchenko.

IMO it devalues the award when a player of the calibre of Gerrard gets left out especially considering his superb displays last season. :angry:

you can't leave beckham,scholes or barthez they had an excellent year right

no zambrotta no matter how good he was for juventus baros rooney and some of the greek players are there on euro 2004 most players on their on past repuatation
