Spot on. Best thing he could have done is focused on the positives of the win. Instead he gets another case of verbal diarrhoea and goes off on another tangent. He never seems to learn

Funnily enough I was thinking that. Maureen can make a right ***** of himself with the stuff he comes out with but at least can back it with the success he has had, (even though a lot of it has been down to landing at clubs with £££s). Rodgers is in no position to coming out with some of the nonsense he spews. Someone needs to pull him aside and have a word

Yeah, that is absolutely spot on.
He really needs to exercise some humility and STFU for a while, but his startling arrogance just won't let him.
Being "only five points off the top" is a stupid boast after only 7 games when the top team only has 16. Extrapolate that to the end of the season and you're looking at being more than 25 points behind. Is that what we have to look forward to? Sometimes I wonder if he might actually believe his own bs, but he couldn't be that stupid, could he? The insulting thing is that he obviously expects us to believe it.

The only good thing to come out of this is that this rodent is showing his true colors.

It's simply staggering that he has any support left.

I  feel sorry for the feeble minded especially on this forum, that he continues taking on a ride.

Reginald, cheer up mate.

It's only a "bit of banter" as you English say. No one is dying from my insults. In fact I'm pretty sure the old Bodge doesn't even know this forum exists

BTW the way I have no idea who this Ronnie character is, remember I'm from Australia.

So happy for you to use an Oz euphemism.

2 points from 4th spot with 31 games to go.
more points than Chelsea
only 5 points behind top spot
lost the same amount of games as Man City  and  Arsenal  and less than Chelsea

there might be a case to sack him but theres also a case to keep him

The above is the very reason why BR needs to go! He has had the same time (with Arsenal being the exception) to have built a team that is competitive.
IF the stats read; 2 points behind top spot, then I'd agree with you. ALL teams will have difficult patches and this is why it was ALWAYS IMPORTANT for LFC to be in a position to capitalise. MANURE have had less time to achieve this but have done it. So what's our excuse?
No trophy of any kind to show of. No CL qualification. End of.
We are not a development football club.
WE ARE LIVERPOOL!

ha ha your a clown. I can't believe you've stated WE ARE LIVERPOOL in such a way to say 'were a club like no other' then you run a comparison using MANUTD as a bench mark? We are where we are, 31 games to go and 2 points off a CL spot, 5 points off top spot. get over it.
