I saw in the paper that DP reckons too many foreigners at Tottenham,

"which meant (Tottenham) had a group of foreign people running, with respect, one of the biggest and finest clubs in the country. That is a gamble mulitplied four times"

What is he talking about and this guy is a relic and an ar$e and football doesn't need the likes of him.

xenophobia is a fear of foreigners, the kerbcrawler is simply stating an opinion that there are too many foreigners at the club and that affects the running of the club. he is not saying they are not good enough to do the job, simply stating that they do not have the experience to do so

i have to agree with peewee. Too many foreigners isnt xenophobia. You need a blend, young and old, foreign and home grown... everything in moderation.

u cant say ud be happy with liverpool fielding 11 foreign players, with no home grown talent can u?
it does matter where they come from sometimes, thats not racist or xenophobic, just fact of life. Its class to see jamie C and steven G playing, becasue they are local talent brought through the youth system ITs good to see when partridge, warnock, potter, mellow and whitbread play as well. A good mix is needed but not to the point whrer you lose all roots

thats where you are wrong, it is a fear of foriegners, are you suggesting that just british people are xenophopic?

you seem to totally misunderstand the meaning of the word. even if you did have the correct meaning, what pleat said was not xenophopic

Sorry yer lost me, but I do think Pleat was racist against foreigners regardless of colour.

Moderation was when me dad was at me mam all weekend for a portion.
