The Ukraine porn star is probably the best comparison, and he was sh!te too.

To be fair to Rafa he brought Voronin in at a time when we had to sell players to service our debt. A lot of the players we signed around that time (Ngog, big Soto, Maxi, Shelvey, Degen etc) were all either signed on a free or for a nominal fee. Benitez was desperately trying to keep our heads above water by trying to find absolute bargains but it was an impossible job, especially as he was at loggerheads with the owners too.
Eventually the lack of funds, the owners, the press, ferguson and his lackeys and even some of our fans wore him down and the great man fell on his sword, he was just fighting on too many fronts, his last act as Liverpool manager was to make one final magnificent gesture of £96,000 to the hillsborough campaign which he requested to be kept anonymous.

His lasting legacy should be he exposed the owners that eventually led to their downfall. I will always feel that Rafa got a bum deal

Makes you wonder why it escaped Rodgers keen eye for detail then ?

Brendan needs to find his balls and if he is given the man utd game which he does not deserve he needs to show everyone that he isnt the stubborn tit that we all know that he is

I think because the game was so pivotal Brendan asked Ricky if he could to go to the well one more time and he did try but there was just nothing there, he was running on empty.
