Benitez1 your wrong.
Stu your right
Jim_Morrison you dont need to threaten B1, ok his comments were rather childish but you still dont need to make threats.
Biscan played well in pre-season by all accounts, he's had two games this season proper and has done well in both, against Depor he was arguably the best player on the pitch (I mean on the night not in reputations yada yada) and if he can follow Traore's lead and take this opportunity with both hands then I say absolutely give him a new contract. I think we should keep Didi for at least another season if he wants to. I think his services to the club over many years should warrant him getting to decide if he stays on a while longer or if he heads home to Germany. Diao must leave as soon as possible, Biscan ahead of him and the youngsters after that. We need to give them experience and opportunities but we dont want to overawe them or burn them out at a young age so Biscan is needed as a solid if unspectacular backup to Gerrard and Alonso (although Didi is ahead of him).
Oh and whoever it was who talked about buying Ronaldinho... your an idiot his buyout clause is over £120,000,000 and Barcelona aren't going to say 'oh well we think £20,000,000 is a fair price when you think Gerrard is worth £35,000,000'
Plus you have to wonder if he wants to play for us, if he wants to leave Spain. He's said that Barcelona is his favourite club in the world and he would love to win trophies as its captain more then he would like to captain Brazil.
To summarise
Keep Biscan,
Ditch Diao
nurture youngsters
dont even think about signing ronaldinho 'cause its not going to happen
