Liverpool Football Club - Games

No, not even at one nil down with 83 minutes played.

If nothing else at least the side don't give up. Some shocking performances out there though.

Toure looked decent today too. I'd keep one or two of these lads for the Toon match.

I'm gonna slag Mario off more often. Seemed to work tonight.
Some shocking performances, but a win is a win.

Borini was energetic. Enough for me to think that he can do a job partnering Balotelli and doing the dog work he is clearly unwilling to do.

Not the best of performances, but at least we rested a few and got the win. Had this been Manchester though we'd be hearing "they never give up do they?" and "the come-back kings!".

scraped through again.
impressed with manquillo and the energy he shows to get in behind. could turn out to be a decent full back if he composes himself a bit more.
its all about the coutinho for us, he's involved in everything positive but is just lacking that finish. could do with lifting his head quicker imo.
im with stu on borini, he was poor and even though he had a bit more go in him he still had no end product. it looked like he was pumped up to the last, a big drama queen for me.
great ball from lallana for balotelli's goal and he took it well but not sure what he was at towards the end with shelvey. it looked like he just ran into him and threw himself on the ground ? anyone see it better ?

Happens every week at games all over the country. Nothing to report or worry about.

Love doing it the hard way.

Can't wait to win a game comfortably.  At this rate I'll be grey/bald before I'm 30

I thought on the whole that was the best first half of football I've seen from us this season ,Coutinho is just such a special little player ,and if we find players on the same
wavelength this topsy turvy season could be rescued . Lucas had a good game ,and even Borini's work rate was good ,and it was a lovely finish from Mario.

Still dodgy at the back and Lovren never moved for the first goal ,but Johnson had a decent game ...Then there's Lambert up front who had little Coutz very nearly pulling
his hair out with frustration ,Borini though surprised me tonight ,he was actually one of our brightest players ,and Lucas gives our back line far more protection than
Gerrard, sorry but I'm just saying it as I see it !

All in all it was a steady display and the first half albeit from the finishing was a passing master class at times.
