Mighty Red - The new Liverpool FC mascot

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby C-R » Sat Sep 13, 2014 10:30 am

There has been a lot of discussion on social media surrounding our new mascot Mighty Red, a lot of people saying we are selling our soul and we are not that type of club

However, i am more interested to know, Does anyone else think there is an uncanny resemblance to Brendan Rodgers ???

Obviously the mascot is a bit gimmicky but it's nowhere near the biggest threat to the so called traditions and culture of the football club, apathy is.
When you have a situation where the majority of people in the stands are more interested in their iPhone's and stuffing their face with burgers than making a positive contribution to the atmosphere it's a little bit rich to point the finger at the mascot and say that friggin' thing is f##king us up.
The way to truly preserve our traditions is take a flag/scarf to the game and sing your heart out for 90 minutes, not stuff you face and moan about a fella in a foam suit.
