Can i just ask? - Where are the biscan slaters

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

i seem to remember all i was doing a while ago was arguing that Biscan was not sh*t and just needed to be played in centre mid a few times. a few months ago you were a laughing stock if you supported Biscan.

i'd love to find those old theads as i cant remember who you were!!!
its not the chilli sauce on kebabs that give you ring-sting, its the actual meat. had one without chilli, and still had ring-sting. the chilli's only there to mask the nonsense they stuff inside that bread.

I have always said Biscan is funny but I don't think I've said he was sh1t3, I have always said give him a chance in the middle just like I did with Diao but Diao has had his time and Biscan has taken his with open arms

That performance lastnight was one that I made me proud to be a red :)

Hey jim you will find nearly everyone was slating him and rightly so as he was a disaster even though he was played out of position.
Smith to Shankly:My thigh is a bit sore, but I think I could play.
Shankly to Fagan:Tell him,Joe.He has got no chance of playing.
Smith to Fagan:Tell him to sod off.It is not his leg,it's mine.
Shankly to Smith:Oh no son.You are wrong, son. It is not your leg.
It is Liverpool Football Club's leg.

Maybe he is living up to his reputation if the likes of uventus and barca wanted him if he continues playing this well, well we will have the best 3 midfielders in europe

Biscan finally signed for Liverpool in December 2000 from Dynamo Zagreb for £5.5million - two months after agreeing personal terms with the Reds.
The Croatian international finished the season with his old club, where he was captain, before travelling to Anfield for a medical and linking up with his team-mates.

Gerard Houllier first noticed Biscan at the European Under-21 championships and had to fight off Juventus, Barcelona, Ajax and AC Milan for the Croat.

Well get Jim a medal!

I was laughing at Biscan calling him a donkey, I think he's a liability & I think Kirkland might agree.

But, like all true LFC fans I want the best for the club and if that turns out to be Biscan then I'll retract my abuse & accept this.

So come all ye who slated Biscan, Jim wants to know who you are!

Think you can include every liverpool fan cause everyone was guilty of it, be it not the lads fault for playing as a defender

not everyone was guilty. there were a few who supported him.

the point i'm making is "no, he didnt deserve it it either."  he would have deserved the criticism if he was playomg centre mid regularly and playing as bad as he was at centre back. the supportive view was saying we shouldnt slate him before we know what he can do in his real position.

I think you are getting a bit excited over one performance, he played well an he done a job with Alonso and Gerrard not being fit, but can you honestly say that Biscan is gonna get a game ahead of those players.

Im hoping when the January transfer window opens he buy’s a player with a bit of flare, we have got a good holding player in Alonso and Gerrard who put everything in to the game and can turn a game on its head, but we haven’t got someone like Ronaldinho, who you haven’t got a clue what he is gonna do when he gets the ball.

I wouldn't say I supported him but I didn't slate him like some people, I just used to have a laugh.

there's nothing so surprising in slating biscan or djimi for their past performance
like dav said, they just deserved it.
but i'm happy for their recent performances
and they deserve praise for that
for me it defo due to particularly factor "rafa"
and given such players progress we can expect there are to be other "new" players in our squad
probably there'll be new pongolle, mellor, le tallec, even patrick luzi, etc
fingers crossed
