Do you think the boys will help GH out of the hole he is in and secure us 6 points or maybe 2 defensive draws might be more in the Houllier mould.  Would it be better if we lost both? (so GH can get the sack/resign)

I am really apprehensive about the Bolton home game because the 'Wanderers' are in such good form at the moment. I'm not so sure about the Manchester City game either considering the 'Reds' will be up against the likes of Mcmanaman and Fowler, both of whom will be really geared up for the match. The question is will 1 point over Christmas spell a happy new year for Houlier and more importantly - will Moores be happy? ?????

Ive lost  confidence in liverpools ability to beat ANY team.at this stage I would prefer two defeats as it may put the final nail in houlliers coffin.

Thats f##kin' s##t - you can't want your own team to lose in order to get the manager the sack - disgrace!

losing the next two games would be a small price to pay for getting rid of houllier.Does anybody really want liverpool staggering to fourth spot thirty points behind the third place team? Houllier is a disaster for the club and the sooner he goes the better.

Cheer up, Greenred! If all the hardcore fans start saying this,
Ive lost  confidence in liverpools ability to beat ANY team.at this stage I would prefer two defeats as it may put the final nail in houlliers coffin.
, then semi-hardcore fans like me would have nothing to cheer for! Just joking...
I am really worried about the Bolton game as they are a hardworking and motivated lot who are really hard to beat. Man City will give us more space but then, the Liverpool players need more than just "space" to play and win right now! Three points over Christmas is the max that I dare to dream about, although I sincerely hope we can collect all 6.

100% agree. Winning two, drawing one and losing one for every four games we play will get us the odd cup and not the league. I don't cheer on the opposition or want us to lose but every defeat may bring us closer to a new manager and new beginning. They say every cloud has a silver lining.........

being a fan i dont ever want to see them lose BUT BUT IF we win i would be dreading houlliers comments i can just hear the cr#p coming out of his mouth i think the cr#p IF we win would be worse than the excuses if we lose

As a lifelong fan I feel it hard to want the team to lose but if we win then Houllier will feel vindicated and come out with more of his condesending and insulting cr#p post match. Perhaps a couple of draws in the league would be best for me, not good enough for a CL place I know , but at least other teams are not taking 3 points of us. Mind you given our current form how likely are we to take 3 points from either of these games. Bolton will hardly be worried about us and Man City will fancy their chances against our defence.
Following on from these 2 league games we have an away  cup game at Yeovil , surely we can only contemplate  a victory from this game ? Perhaps Houllier is preparing his excuses for the unthinkable already , you know the usual cr#p ... quagmires , tired players , bad luck , more shots on goal than our opponents. Mind you "IT COULD BE A BLESSING IN DISGUISE "  as it would allow us to concentrate on the league.
Next game up ? Chelsea away , the last time we won there Dalglish was still boss and we were the team to beat.
How times have changed.

Bolton may give us a tough game as they did manu last season and Chelski and Arsenal this. I reckon we could scrape a win in this game, funnier things have happened this season. After all, who would have predicted Bolton would beat Chelski and draw with Arsenal? Man City have been in poor form of late and couldn't beat a Leeds Utd side which has struggled this season but has improved recently under Gray. If Leeds Utd move out of the bottom three then it could well be the three promoted teams filling the relegation spots

Green reds comments about prefering 2 losses over xmas to get ris of houllier are ironic, as an everton fan I am hoping for at least one win to keep GH in charge for longer.

It cant have happened many times when a blue is hoping for a reds win and the red fams hoping for a loss.
