Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

starting to thing that I may have been hasty in saying he should stay until the summer....was ***** today against League 1 opposition and I'm not convinced he wants to be here anymore. In fact, I'd send him packing now...he offers NOTHING to the side. NOTHING.

When he played for Wigan he often gave our defenders a hard time when he ran at them and he looked bright when he first came to us, scoring on his debut. I was optimistic that he'd add something good to the squad but since his early showing for us he's just gone downhill.

Still feel there's a player in there somewhere just not sure where that player has gone, been a major disappointment.

Lack of game time probably hasn't helped. However there's a reason he isn't starting and that must be a failure to meet the expectations demanded by Rodgers as a wide player. Coutinho isn't a naturally wide player yet he interacts and creates opportunities because he is willing and able to invest into the possession philosophy instilled by Rodgers. From what I see from Moses he isn't invested in that idea and often opts for the direct "run with the ball" approach. He could do well to look at Sterling.

How often do players on loan turn out to be a success for Liverpool? The last few have been extremely poor.

I can't believe the difference in him now and in the first game he played for us, he was great in his first match but has just gone totally downhill since, when him and cissokho are on the pitch together, our left looks a fooking joke

Yesterday ,Gerrard hit a peach of a ball for Moses and he ran the fucking thing out of play :Oo:  ,but for the first 10 mins he was involved in some intricate
one touch passing with Aspas which resulted in a rasping shot from Alberto ....Then he gave the ball away in some dangerous positions that better teams
would have punished us for, and from then he was dire losing the ball with annoying repetition ,until he was mercifully withdrawn.

I mean the lad has no little skill ,but his application is seriously wanting ,when he had the opportunity to coast past a fragile Oldham rearguard he took
the option to pass instead to Cissokho ....Yes Cissokho  ??? Looks for all the world like he wants out.

I thought he looked the best he has in a Liverpool shirt yesterday (by that I mean when I hadn't seen the highlights).  :D

*Disclaimer: In no way was the above post designed as an insult... it was nursery, school yard banter. Nothing more. :D

However... its clear your son has as much knowledge of the game as his dad.  :eyebrow  :D

Nursery banter would prove  a significant level above lad  :;): As for my son ,he's young and full of hope and optimism ,hasn't had it squeezed out of
him yet by frequenting a Liverpool forum  :D ....Did you go yesterday Stu ?

No mate I didn't, I don't go as much these days. Not living with Parents and not earning as much as I used to so don't go much these days to be honest... Typical of my life though mate, no season ticket, don't go the games just as things are starting to look promising!

I could land in a barrel of t*ts and come out sucking my thumb at the minute!

I don't own a season ticket any longer myself Stu ,but there is always someone with spares, and in the case of the Oldham game, one of my lads
mates had one going begging ....All the lads  know if they wave a ticket under my nose , I'm practically there.......What can I say lad ,we're
playing that well this season that I'm just scared of missing out at the minute.  :D

Hope your luck changes in 2014 Stu ,and I mean that fella........

right back to arguing about Gerrard now ,you whopper !!!!  :;):
