Good thing we scored that third goal because it might have been a different game if we didn't.

Anyway, we played a great game, or at least a great first half. That's 4 wins in a row which we haven't done for a while.

Suarez MOTM obviously but special mention to Henderson, Sterling and Sakho who also played well. Kelly can be forgiven for the bad display but Allen and Johnson were not good enough.

we are not going to be amazing every week, that just doesnt happen in the real world but saying that we werent too shabby either.
there was a 20 minute spell just before half time where we played some great stuff and we could have easily ran up a cricket score, god knows how many times we had players through one on one with their keeper but blew the opportunities with a heavy touch.
second half we did look a bit vunerable under the high ball and i`d like to see mingolet come off his line and help our defenders out every now and then, especially when opposition players are winning headers inside our 6 yard box, allowing that to happen is just asking for trouble.
all in all though another good win and a another 2 goals for luis who is just ridiculous this season, what a player!

Don't know why you saw much wrong with Allen, I reckon you and Redno 7 just don't like him.

We we're lucky to hold on in truth, a few decisions went our way on another day the outcome could have been completely different. Second game in a row.





Disclaimer: I'm joking and almost in disbelief at how well this season has gone. Brendan Rodgers has done spectacularly well to get our team performing the way they are. What a season!! (Should have put a sarcastic smiley above).

i agree, i thought allen did okay myself, johnson on the other hand has looked slow and lethargic ever since the derby match. it`s like he`s stuck in first gear, there`s no energy or enthusiasm about his game

Yea I thought Allen was decent as well.  Put a lot of effort in and continued to press from the back.  I agree with Johnson as well.. Thought he looked very sluggish today and didn't understand why BR switched everybody around instead of just putting Kelly in for Johnson.
