Lucas did a great job but the key difference today was desire, attitude and determination but most of all the fact that everybody turned up. Sterling was a major reason for the first goal and deserved his goal. The midfield was very impressive but that wasn't  down to the fact that Gerrard wasn't playing. They played with a confidence and belief that hasn't quite been there this season. BR must be given a lot of credit for the overall way that they destroyed Spurs.Suarez was simply immense yet again and he could easily have scored a couple more.

Did the pressing part right (which was a key part of our game today) but nothing else apart from that. Made a lot of mistakes and missed a lot of tackles which could have costed us if it weren't for Sakho, Skrtel and partly Flanagan.

Still nowhere near the player that he was IMO.

Devaney ,I always knew that performance was in our locker and our away performances thus far haven't been conducive to the style of football
Rodgers wishes us to play ....But today we played a full 90 minutes at a phenomenal tempo and it was a joy to watch.

Agree with this. I think there was one or two in the first half where the ball just went through his legs in/near the penalty box.

Can't quite believe you're agreeing with that.

I thought Lucas was bordering awful and I certainly ain't the only one. His passing was off, his positioning  none existant, missed tackles and didn't get near the opposition. Looked like he lacked match fitness being honest. He needs replacing in Janurary desperately for me.

I thought he had a very good game doing what he was told. I lost count how many times he broke up the play, blocked shots and threw his body in front of the ball. He was there to do an unselfish job and he did it. He was not subbed because he played poorly, he was subbed because they went down to ten men and a defensive midfielder was no longer needed. I am surprised you did not see it.

Kazza... I really don't get what you're on about mate.

He didn't throw a tackle in the hole match, he blocked one cross at the near post, gave the ball away countless times with sloppy passes in poor area's of the pitch and for f*cks sake lad, the ball rolled under his foot TWICE! He's a professional footballer playing on a carpet like surface and the ball actually rolled under his foot.

The lad had an poor game and to be quite honest, you could have put pretty much any midfielder in the league in there and it would only have had a positive effect.

It seems that whenever Suarez has a world class performance these days people become completely oblivious to others around him not pulling their weight.

Yeah that will be it Stu ......

Of course, it will most likely have absolutely nothing to do with you being lodged so far up Gerrard's rip he finds it hard to sit down ?

Away from the pitch at least  :rasp

Johnson - 6
Skrtel - 7
Sakho - 7
Flanagan - 8
Lucas - 8
Allen - 8
Henderson - 10

Henderson a 10? ??? Better than Suarez?
