Except..he should really try less of the long balls to nobody. I've lost count of the number of times in recent games he just hoofs it forward in hope. Simply giving the ball away each time.

Keep it up Kolo.  :buttrock

Yeah, turning out to be a very shrewd piece of business by Rodgers.

To think he was regarded as a poor signing by the usual suspects !! Brilliant today. Unlucky not to score.

always thought he was a good piece of business for a freebie but i probably would have slammed rodgers if he had paid a fee for him
but looking at the impact he has and at the level of consistent performances he delivers  :nod if we had of paid 6mil or so for him it still would have been a bargain  :buttrock
he was excellent today

The dedication and heart that he puts out there is so evident.  You can simply see how much this means to him on his face.  He just has that will to win that permeates through the team.  Great signing!!

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Good performance against Sunderland.

Saved a certain goal when he stepped across Giaccherini when he was running through in the first half.  Excellent bit of play, showing all his experience,  that was nearly as good as a goal to us.

the look of agony as he popped his shoulder out...    popped it back in and back defending within minutes. Proper hardcore old school footballer.

Thank God it was a free and not a loan as he seems the transfer of the window for us and it means we can have him for three years hopefully. He was the perfect replacement for Jamie which was always going to be difficult.

Done well so far even his distribution is a bit suspect.

Will interesting to see what people think of him after thirty eight games. He seems to be playing much more like the Kolo Toure who played for Arsenal and earnt a move to City rather than the one who at times looked lost while playing for City and at times looked a liability.

As long as he keeps this form up though no complaints.
