His that 3 games have been poor in my view, his passing has gone.
last night he lost us possession with bad passing and twice he it happened when we was putting Man U under a lot of pressure.

he turned into a great player for us but he needs a bit of a kick up the butt right now.

I think statistically his passing completion percentage has been higher than any other player on the pitch in the last couple of games

I'm still not sure why people see so much in him. I thought he gave away possession a fair bit. And I remember yet another daft tackle and yellow card. He was nowhere near the player, and got nowhere near the ball. Another example of his poor positioning, awareness, pace and decision making.

yes that's a good point, his long passing has not been great, bring back the MOTD stats of passing over 20 yards......they have not done that since john motson left.

you would have to slash Barcelona's pass count by 90% if sideways didn't count

Lucas is a sound, tidy midfielder. Not one to stamp his authority in the midfield though and I think he does need some competition to keep him on his toes.

Barca passing is with intent on finding the weak spot in which the the deep clever pass follows ,Lucas passes have no contribution to the game buildup its just an empty stat.

Lucas has reached his glass ceiling in my opinion I can't see him doing better.

Was excellent last night until he picked up his mandatory yellow for his first foul (which was a joke). Jones committed about 25 fouls before getting booked.

Faded a bit second half again. He was still far better than Gerrard though. The two of them as a pair doesn't work.
