Pi$$ poor.. It might only be the league cup but the finishing in the final third is just awful.

Can't believe we lost this one. United were f*cking awful. Our players didn't even look interested, no fight or will to score in them whatsoever. Pathetic performance.

We need something.....lack any spark last couple of games.

No steel in midfield, gerrard and lucas look poor every game after an hour.

I thought we shaded them, but another corner sunk us. Good to see us playing 90 minutes, rather than 45. Perhaps we've played better, but there were plenty of good signs there. Suarez looks close to being match fit, and it was nice to not see Aspas on the pitch. A little concerning to see us have so many chances and not score, but a lot to be happy about.

Still absolutely gutted though.

Just not enough quality in the squad

We looked poor against a second string UTD.

Really do need a spark to happen. We have got a few results but not one decent 90 min performance yet.

Not sure how we have come away from this game with a loss. Classic case of not having any goals to show for our superiority in the first half and and falling asleep for that split second straight away in the 2nd half and letting them nick it. Very annoying.
