Well Utd will play a weakened line up - we haven't got much choice but to play the available players. Might have a small chance of winning

lovely just what we needed  :eyebrow
you have to beat a top side at some stage so it might not be a bad thing. it would be worse if we got them in the semi or final so at least we have the chance to get it out of the way early.

A tough game at O.T. and being a knock out competition, I would prefer to get knocked out early than late and getting many of your first team regulars injured. It is the PL position and CL qualification that are most important now. If we can win there, great but if not, it doesn't matter.

Yep, that's the first thing that went through my mind when I saw it. Sign.

beat them early and enhance our chances of winning it out right, or get put out early and enhance the chances of a top 4 finish and preserve player fitness, its win win either way. only one problem would be having to listen to the scum if they put us out, but as we always hear from them, "its a mickey mouse cup anyway".

give me the choice and id prefer 3points on sunday,, feck the league cup.
go 2points clear at the top.

I think the other way around. Moyes weakend team at old trafford is as good as our A team.

Really ? So you think we will beat their A team but lose to their weakened team that is better than our A team - dont really follow the logic
