Be surprised if he ends up anywhere but Newcastle and hes probably worth no more
than £10m max now.

Carroll has started and completed 90 minutes in the last 4 league games for West Ham and scored 2 goals. Hopefully he’ll stay fit until the end of the season and get some goals which will encourage all parties to get a permanent deal completed.

I think he deserves a crack at the squad next year particularly as we're so much better at creating chances now.

If Suarez were to leave keeping Carroll could be the answer it would save us having to spend big on another striker and could mean spending the Suarez money on other areas. Carroll could be quite effective with Sturridge

If Suarez stays I still think Carroll should be retained.

carroll would provide a plan b and thats what we need when it comes down to matches we struggle to break down. we have natural width in the side now and they would deliver great service to him.

Looking at our recent purchases, I suspect the decision has already been made, he's not coming back not just because he's cr@p but because the side is set up to play a different style.

In terms of cycling, last year Sky had Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish in the same team which was never going to work. Cav as a sprinter needs a lead out team to get him to within 300 yards of the finish and catapult him to glory. Wiggins was a general classification rider needed hill climbers, fast but steady team mates who would lead him up mountains and protect his position day after day on a 21 day Tour de France.

We had Suarez and initially thought to have him work with a tall central attacker like Keegan and Tosh. Subsequently we bought Sturridge, Henderson is working again and Coutinho is there with Stevie G providing through balls and darting runs. If we keep Carroll as a stand in we'd have to change the style of play which we're not set up to do any more. Cav's sprint team can't climb mountains just as our current jinxy runs don't work for a man with two left feet.

The lad is happy at West Ham, let him stay. Sell him for 12m, a straight swop for Sturridge... then bring Amoo whatever his name is back from Scotland as your back up.

Andy is a good player but not in a Brendan Rodgers system.

Take the wigan game for example all the goals apart from th 1st was about nice little passes. Would Carroll work in that system probably not.

What we need now is to hopefully maximise his price. If Newcastle are interested Andy would jump at the chance to go back. With our rumoured interest in Ben Arfa there could be a deal on the cards for everyone

Carroll was finished as a Liverpool player as soon as Rodgers arrived. Whether he is fantastic or cack makes no difference, he does not fit in with the tippy tappy philosophy. He does have my sympathy though because he has really been sh'it on from a great height due to his £35 million price tag and I still think the lad could become a good player in his own right, but not playing here.
Get whatever money we can for him and draw a line under the whole sorry episode

I like Andy. He seems like a good guy most of the time !! Suarez makes me jump out of my seat and revel at his genius ten times a game. Andy has never really done that for me. Ok maybe once in the FA Cup semi final against the bitters when he scored for which I will be eternally grateful!  He also had his moments against Chelsea in the final and most certainly should have started.  Most of the time though when I've  jumped out of my seat it has been in abject horror at some of Andy's failings. Andy's first fifteen months at Liverpool were downright awful and it was little wonder that BR decided that he wouldn't figure in the team.

Would he be satisfied to spend most of his time on the bench if he came back? Personally I don't think so. I hope he has a decent end to the season and that either West Ham or Newcastle buy him for around £15m. Anymore would be a bonus. Sturridge and Coutinho cost £20m. Think what we could do with £15m if we buy wise. A move would be the best solution for all concerned.

Get rid. If he wasn't on big wages, I'd say keep him for games when the 1). The pitch is awful 2). Really wet pitches 3). Put him on to help with set pieces when we are up in a game by a goal or two. But since he's on huge wages, we could probably find someone (Maybe Amoo) that could essentially do the same for a lot cheaper.

I would really like us to use him in the Summer as bait for Ben Arfa or Cabaye, either of them would suit the Rodgers style he wants to adapt here.

I do feel for Carroll, he never wanted to be known as a £35million player but it was going to happen when Fernando Torres went to them for £50million and Darren Bent went Aston Villa for £25million in the same window, Carroll coming to us for that price hasn't half saved Darren Bent from being known as a 'flop'.

Carroll knows he doesn't have a future with us and we know he doesn't have a future with us, like people have said if he was on lower wages then I wouldn't mind him staying and being an option from the bench in the games we need a big man for the last 15 minutes but that's not to be. Him being English doesn't help with that situation either, because if you're an English striker then you seem to be expected to start every game in this Country.

Swap for either Ben Arfa or Cabaye or let West Ham have him for close to £15million, best solution for everyone.

If we could only get £10m for Andy then I would keep him and develop him as an attacking central defender with the option to use him in attack when necessary.
