Alonso - Interview on bbc

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Now I have job again I have life again, 2 years of uncercainty of keeping a job, 6 months of unemployment, bad patch, in a context of really ***** up country. Now it's over. :) Other than that, health ok, love ok, which is important.

More than sentimental, I think that there are still players who take decissions thinking in his football. Few players acknowledge a proper club like Alonso does in the interview. There are players who still value proper training conditions, proper dressrooms, and proper fans. If it was about the money he would have already signed the renewal for Real Madrid he's been offered.  If it was about the money every player would end in Quatar or Saudi Arabia, and I hope he doesn't.

I can't see himthat ending his career in that plastic football club in which he even doesn't get along too well with his team-mates.
