Andy Carroll signs for West Ham

The Premiership - General Discussion

Its not a super fan thing.

Its a supporter thing.

Take Lucas for example. How many supporters were calling for his head, for him to be sold, for every loss we suffered it was Lucas' fault. And now he is one of our key players. This is what I look at with every player who pulls on that red shirt.

Not all will make the grade, but some will become legends, but the quick judgement that is constant is, if they dont perform straight away, then get rid.

And this attitude is here to stay.

Its not a super fan thing, its simply a case of patience amongst supporters is a lost art.

So let me get this right.

If LFC went out tomorrow and bought eleven players from the 3rd division you would unquestioningly support that decision as a "fan" but not have any constructive criticism of such a decision.  :lookaround

According to you LFC players deserve every "fans" undying loyal support, even it bring this club down.......

Funny that you never answered the question directed to you about Hodgson and Konchesky?

Sorry mate, as I pointed out in my last post to you (which BTW didn't have a single insult directed at you) you could not FACTUALLY or STATISTICALLY prove why you thought Carroll was a better striker than Suarez or Rooney last season.

Sometimes, you just need to accept that you are wrong dude. I think that is that least you can do to keep isolating yourself as fringe loon.

Maybe I can talk Kharhazzian to you so you understand. As a loyal "fan" I assume you give your undying support to our current manager Brendan Rodgers. He thought Carroll wasn't good enough, so where does that leave you and your "support" towards him, his decision making and our club?

I thought I did?

not a single insult?

F**k me you ARE being serious, you silly c**t.

Your definition of top form is very subjective. I dont think scoring 3 goals within the space of a few games is "top form" regardless which way you see it. Thats why Van Persie was considered as last season's player of the year and Carroll was the laughing stock of the league. If he was so unplayable why did he not score or assist more goals? Messi is unplayable, a one-dimensional big lug who can only score mostly with his head is not "unplayable", you silly f**king clown!

Whatever "pundits" you are going on about, they were wrong as well. The rest of us fans who actually watch ALL the games throughout the season, know what the f**k we are talking about. He WAS not better than Suarez at the time, never has and never will be.

Oh but you cry out for evidence........Here's your f**king evidence: Carroll scored 9 goals with 4 assists in 29 games, in all competitions last season. Suarez  scored 17 goals with 8 assists in 37 games, in all competitions last season. To add to this Suarez countless times had his shots miss by a few inches, hit the wood work or were great saves pulled off by oppposition goal keepers. Do you want me to go on?  Suarez scored 9 goals for Uruguay helping them lift the Copa America and was player of the tournament, THAT's F**KING FORM. Carroll was sitting on the England bench and managed to score 1 miserable goal, helping them achieve f**k all.......... Some fancy little shuffle before scoring in the FA Cup isn't what I call form or being "unplayable".

And if you are comparing him to Shrek, let me just say this. Shrek will probably score three or four more times more goals for England and Merchandise United throughout his career then Carroll will score throughout his respective career. I don't care about a given point in time, no one does. The quality of a player is measured over a few seasons, not a few games. He is struggling at West Ham for a reason, he is s**t. He had a great start to the league a few years ago, but in football terms that was a LONG time ago. He is not a good player and should come no where near our club EVER again.

So before you call other people's comments idiotic look at your own. There is not one sane Liverpool fan that would agree with your own moronic opinion. Now go sit down, sh*t up and have a f**kin Coke. You are wrong, just accept it.

No, of course, you represent every modicum of respect.

Andy Carroll is suffering the most from this, he doesn't fit into LFC's plans nor do I think he feature's in Newcastles any more - he missed his chance. Think his best option right now would be someone like Villa for 12-15 million as buying Sturridge puts the knockers on him coming back to Anfield.

Is it bollox that West ham have to buy him for £20m if they don't get relegated? I thought there was something like that in the loan contract.

Allardyce has said he wants him to stay, but I dunno.  He's lost more value for sure this season.  Honestly the best place for him to end up now would probably be Newcastle.

allardyce you mean?
personally i hope he comes back here, there`s definately room for a physical center forward at the club
we are so lightweight it`s untrue, half of our squad get brushed off the ball far too easily (sterling, suso, sahin, allen, assaidi, borini etc etc) and a lot of the others arent exactly particularly strong either, agger and skrtel are good players but as centre halves go they are not that strong and suarez and sturridge arent exactly battering rams either.

Even If Rodgers did want a physical forward in his squad I would hope that he could find a much better player than Carroll. I hope to God Carroll stays at West Ham and starts scoring some goals because at this rate we’ll be spending another summer trying to shift a player whose stock has declined even further.
