Blah blah, get a room you two.

Heres a question: Who is more desperate? Rafa or Chelsea?

i wouldn't say Chelsea are desperate; they're just a club that's being run very, very badly.

I doubt Rafa is desperate either, but he's fallen somewhat.  As i said earlier, Rafa of old wouldn't ever go to a club to be a second rate caretaker.

So a little from column A, a little from column B.

Chelsea, yeah they have a clueless board. The fact they hired Benitez, well, it would be like us hiring Gary Neville.

As for Benitez, I dont wish him well, as this would mean Chelsea doing well, but I dont hope he fails either, he is a good man. I hope he comes out shining, while leaving that club in the dark.

Always wanted to see how Rafa would go if he had money to spend..with us though :(

Think he'll do well there, especially if he can get Torres firing again. Not gonna like seeing him manage against us.

Rafa is all about money. he going there to get sacked and to get money for being sacked.

going by sky Rafa has made more money by being sacked in the last 4 years than by doing any work....not a bad gig if you get it lol

The Chelsea supporters hate him because apparently ourselves and Chelsea are massive rivals, I never knew about that until yesterday, I always knew that Everton and United were our rivals, but not Chelsea. Still if it makes that small club feel better then fair play to them.

their fans are clueless whoppers. i heard one earlier basically rubbishing his achievements. apparently winning the champions league and fa cup final on penalties doesn't count. he then went on to say he didn't like rafa because he "disrespected mourinho". the same mourinho who basically went around disrespecting everybody, including the berkshire ambulance service who he accused of neglect.

can't stand their fans. typical plastic morons who have been spoilt.

Hostilities aside, its an excellent appointment by the Chelsea board .. Remember this is the man who sussed out the talents of Villa ,Aquero,Alves,Falcao ,
Silva and countless others when they were unknown quantities ,just imagine how blessed with outrageous talent that Chelsea team will be when he has a fucking sugar daddy behind him ? I'm a realist ,and I think Benitez with money behind him would turn Chelsea from dangerous animal to a genuine tour de force .

Rafa Benitez has been out of the game for a substantial period of time ,but he would have been meticulous in designing his eventual comeback .

Chelsea aren't worthy of the pragmatic but tactical genius they have been blessed with..... Remember this is the only manager to make Mourinho look ordinary
in two of the biggest games of the Portuguese mans entire  life ....Two European Semi Finals ,now that in my book makes Rafa the "Special One " .

He won't be fired. He'll be "ceremoniously discharged" once Roman gets his man.

I'm in two minds about this, really. I don't really like it, but it makes sense for Rafa in the short and long term. It'd be interesting to see what he does with a team like that. At the same time, it'll be exciting just to see him back in the PL. I hope he does well there and then resigns. It would be the perfect antidote for RA's sacking of decent managers antics. Oh, and Chelsea supporters are a bunch of classless w@nkers. Always have been, always will be. If anything, Rafa getting abuse off them will only endear him to our club even more. We paraded the man's portrait through the streets when he got appointed. What do they do? Chant abuse and start protests.
