If you compare his skill Level Commitment Age and Price tag to Downing its laughable how two guys could be so diffrent

Downing has had so many opportunities and fails to take them every time, he has now fallen behind Sterling and Assaidi in the pecking order, should offload in in Jan and get some money for him, Villa would pay us a few mill

Seems like a good player. Should maybe be starting instead of Sterling. Not saying Sterling is not good enough, but he's just too young and shouldn't be starting on a regular basis. If Assaidi keeps this up he should be the one starting more often.

If he's good enough he's old enough in my book.

Sterling does need a few games off to rest and relax.

Assaidi certainly looks like he is capable, but I am yet to get the impression he can make more of an impact than Sterling.

Sterling would be my first pick all the way at the moment. I think Assaidi will still be used in the cup competitions in the short term (i.e. Octobers fixtures)

The last thing Assaidi needs to be wrapped up in cotton wool. The lad played well against a good team in West Brom, now we have to keep the momentum going, I think he should start against Norwich on the weekend. The wee fella makes things happen and I am confident he can do that against Norwich on Saturday.

In what way was that not a real team last night, was that not more or less the same WBA team which kicked out ***** in the opening match?

I really like the look of all the youngsters, the future is looking very bright but we need one of these young strikers to start shining, I liked the look of young Yessel but it's to early to tell yet.

Borini and Shelvey are hurt, so this weekend we could see a middle 3 of Stevie, Allen and Sahin, and a front 3 of Suarez, Sterling, and Assaidi/Suso.  Suso's also played really well and I think he deserves a start.  Really confident and that's great to have in an attacking player.
