We have hammered UTD in this first half and show great pace, power, movement, closed down quickly and our shape has been superb.

ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR BRENDAN HEY?

He cannot do anything about Jonjo's mistake, all he can hope for is that fantastic first half where no one has mentioned his contribution to this performance does not end with critism towards him come the end of the 90.

We wont be able to sustain the tempo and movement in the second half.  The hairdryer will have come out and they will respond so it will not be easy and i fear the worst.

BUT PLEASE, lets not blame the manager if today doesnt work out.  His ideas and effort will bare fruit, as long as these silly mistakes by our PLAYERS (note not always the manager) are cut out.

Spot on. THey were not even in the game until the sending off and even then we still had a chance.

I never had any doubts about Rogers tbh.

Yes it was a stupid challenge but look again, Evans was two footed and was high as well as Shelvey!! The only difference was Evans acted like a tart writhing round on the floor. The ref could quite easily have sent both off or just booked both.

On a side note nice to see Shelvey up for it. He's got a big future at the club.

:Oo:

Harsh decision from the ref but why the f'uck did Shelvey put in such an unnecessary tackle ?, may well have cost us the game.

bit dramatic mate, I agree goals will be hard to come by but if you think we've been pathetic then God knows what they've been

Every time we attack, we hardly have anyone in the box. And this means Suarez has to hold on to the ball longer and eventually loses it. And now with 10 men, it's hard enough trying to win with 11. I can't help but feel despondent  :(

He went in two footed, and yet Liverpool it is who are down to 10. Bullsh!t.  :veryangry

Pundits down under on Channel im watching which include Mark Bosnich are saying exactly the same thing.

Bosnich is also saying that if he did enough for Ref to give Red then Evans did enough to give penalty for earlier challenge on Agger

Unbelievable decision.

That was never a red. Their c*nt went in with two sets of studs up, their c*unt comes out worse off, and therefore we get the red. Stupid fecking ref c*unt.

Honestly just watched the tackle, and Evans tackle was worse than Shelvey's he wen in to studs up, Shelvey went with one.  The only reason SHelvey's second foot was involved in the tackle was because Evans hit him so hard he swung around on a swivel and his second foot barely touched Evans.  If Shelvey goes, Evans has to go
