Too true, I wonder what he said to Fergie on the walk down to changerooms

Keep at em boys,

I would imagine he was pointing out how once again, his influence over the ref have swung the game in his favour.

I mean shocking f*cking refereeing.  What have an incident that could easily be a pen for us, completely ignored, and gives us a red for a challenge never worthy of a red 10 minutes later.  I really just can't stand this ***** anymore.

Pathetic display. Looking completely toothless in attack. All they need is one moment of magic from RVP or a defensive error and we're done. I'm finding it hard to see where our goals are gonna come from.

Sorry but you guys really belive that?

That Red nose talked to the ref about throwing the game? And there is some deep dark conspiracy within football to stop us winning?

Especially in a game the ref needs to let some things go. Evra should have been booked on Sterling before, got nothing!

Inconsistent this ref.

It's no just inconsistency it's terrible refereeing ,wrong calls ,game changing decisions ,almost in every game in the EPL, this bunch of jokers especially those so called international refs should be relegated to the bottom leagues till they get their act together. I'm just disgusted at the lack of professionalism by those fcktards.

No should have been a yellow but it will only make it more sweeter when we nick the win in the second half

Watching the pre match ceremony  now as I got in late, great stuff.

Replays show Jonjo Shelvey had a go at Sir Alex Ferguson as he walked off the field. He seems to have lost his head, and he paid the price (from bbc)

You know the ref's fooked us big style when Rat boy is saying both players should have gone.

The only difference between the two players in that tackle was that Evans went rolling round on the floor.

bit dramatic mate, I agree goals will be hard to come by but if you think we've been pathetic then God knows what they've been
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing

I can't understand how Evans wasn't sent off as well, he clearly dived in front on with studs up. Why do we continue to have idiotic amateur decisions made against us?!?

Watching that red again, how the f*ck was Evans not sent off?

He went in two footed, and yet Liverpool it is who are down to 10. Bullsh!t.  :veryangry

EVERYONE STOP - this is a great moment to put things into perspective.

We have hammered UTD in this first half and show great pace, power, movement, closed down quickly and our shape has been superb.

ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR BRENDAN HEY?

He cannot do anything about Jonjo's mistake, all he can hope for is that fantastic first half where no one has mentioned his contribution to this performance does not end with critism towards him come the end of the 90.

We wont be able to sustain the tempo and movement in the second half.  The hairdryer will have come out and they will respond so it will not be easy and i fear the worst.

BUT PLEASE, lets not blame the manager if today doesnt work out.  His ideas and effort will bare fruit, as long as these silly mistakes by our PLAYERS (note not always the manager) are cut out.

These types of games need a ref with balls who won't make a knee jerk reaction.

On a side note nice to see Shelvey up for it. He's got a big future at the club.
