What does it mean when a player is under List B? Can he still play?

Judging simply by that list with the * by their names I'd say that they are probably U21 players able to play (maybe they  have a rule that a certain number of players can be included beyond a 25 man squad).  Just a guess.

Could do without the thursday games to be honest. They are a hindrance, and one is before the merseyside derby in Oct.
