I think the lack of that was what cost us yesterday

The performance yesterday wasn't that bad. We had chances to win the match, but didn't take those chances. We then had at least three decent penalties shouts turned down and unfortunately a stray pass from Gerrard was punished. We were also punished by an excellent piece of play by Santi Cazorla. There have been many positives to take from the last two matches, but we must iron out silly mistakes, mistakes we have been making all season which have proven costly.

Rodgers was present at Kirby Academy to see reds youngsters draw with a city side that included Sinclair and Barry ,he was apparently very impressed
with Ngoo ,and the scoring prowess of Pelosi who netted two .

we're the greatest club in the world.
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

He was also seen at Stanley Park watching an under 12s match where he said "that blonde kid could do a job for us up front"

I don't want a Sugar Daddy, how many more times? I want a group of owners or an owner who will back the manager they/he have appointed, is that too much to ask for?

Apart from pulling a striker out of the bag on deadline day have they done much wrong?

I also think they realised that they messed up hence the John Henry letter.

I'm as frustrated as the next fan but patience is required.

We have 19 players. U don't have to look too far beyond this to see how much wrong's been done!
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

Sterling and Allen have looked really good - both real gems. It is going to take time but overall we are playing a neater style of footy. Once we gel it will come good. And after we get Drogba :-)

Yes, Rodgers has been tasked with saving money at the expense of strength in the first team and strength indepth of the squad as a whole. John W. Henry can write as many letters as he wants, words are cheap, his actions and the actions of FSG contradict his words, so until they correspond with each other, I won't take any notice of what he says and continue to be left disillusioned by Fenway Sports Group.
