Carroll's performances at the end of last season showed he was up for it and could make a contribution. And if BR's motivational skills are anything to shout about, then he should make the right noises and get Carroll up for it.
He costs 80K per week, hardly a huge amount in the context of the rest of the team. He's a young lad who can get better with the right coaching and discipline.
We have Downing and Cole on ridiculous salaries and neither has delivered a single, decent performance since they were signed.
We have Spearing, admittedly on less, who won't get a game. We have youngsters who need Championship experience to blood them before they can be considered for a future with the club or not.
Bad, bad move BR. I don't agree with this....

how many times does it have to be said. You will not see a BR's livepool team ever play like everton did vs Man Utd.
All this Plan B talk is laughable. If Plan A doesnt work then BR will try and make Plan A better!
Carroll doesnt fit into BR's vision. Why cant people accept this?

What happens if plan A continues to not work
