Is it just me ,or does this constant speculation surrounding mainly Reds players albeit for possibly Van Persie in the media ,smack of a serious agenda ?
I mean as soon as Rodgers took the reins its been one unfounded story after another ,is it just solely the media's intention to leave reds supporters feeling
like they have narrowly avoided relegation last season ,and are now just waiting for all our star players to be cherry picked ?

I mean for the love of all that is holy ....Fucking West Ham , ??? and  "our fans are canny like but that's  never been  enough to inspire the team to
any form of trophy"  Newcastle United   :no

Carroll has stated he wants to fight for his place at Liverpool FC ,and in light of this Rodgers has praised the lads ability and application ....
So why the fuck can we still hear the discomforting sound of Allardyce still pulling his foreskin back and forth at the prospect of
getting Carroll .

This is off the BBC site
"West Ham United have agreed a £2m loan fee with Liverpool for Andy Carroll.

The season-long deal for the England striker could result in a £17m transfer at the end of the campaign, provided the Hammers stay in the Premier League.

However, it is thought the 23-year-old Carroll does not wish to leave Liverpool on a permanent basis.
The Reds, who paid a club-record fee of £35m for Carroll in January 2011, have already turned down Newcastle United's bid to re-sign the player."

Liverpool FC deny accepting £2m Andy Carroll West Ham loan bid

LIVERPOOL FC last night denied that they had agreed a £2m loan deal which would see Andy Carroll join West Ham United.

Speculation mounted over the past 24 hours that a deal had been struck which would see the England striker move to Upton Park on a season-long loan deal, with a permanent deal worth around £16m to be completed should the Hammers avoid relegation from the Premier League.

But both Liverpool and West Ham, as well as the player’s agent, have moved to deny the story. Carroll will resume pre-season training with the Reds at Melwood tomorrow, ahead of Thursday’s Europa League qualifier with FC Gomel of Belarus, having figured as a second-half substitute in the friendly draw with Tottenham in Baltimore on Saturday.

The ECHO revealed last week that West Ham had tabled an offer of £2m to take Carroll to east London on loan for the season, and that Liverpool were considering the bid.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has privately conceded that Carroll is unlikely to fit into his plans going forward, but is keen to secure the best possible price for the player.

It is understood that Carroll, despite a close friendship with Hammers captain Kevin Nolan, is reluctant to consider a move to Sam Allardyce’s newly-promoted side.

Hammers sources have conceded that they would face a battle to convince the Gateshead-born frontman to make the switch to London.

Newcastle, who sold the forward to Liverpool for £35m in January 2011, remain keen on the 23-year-old, though are reluctant to meet the Reds’ valuation of the player.

The Magpies are eager to secure a loan deal, though sources in the north east are confident that Carroll would prefer a switch to Tyneside if, or when, he eventually leaves Anfield.

To further complicate matters, should Carroll feature at FC Gomel on Thursday and Liverpool go on to reach the group stages, the striker would be ineligible to play in the Europa League – for which Newcastle have qualified – this season.

Carroll has made 56 appearances for the Reds since his club-record arrival, scoring 11 times, including goals at Wembley in both the FA Cup semi-final and final last season.

I hope Rodgers starts him against Gomel on Thursday ,then maybe it will end all this baseless media speculation on the lad leaving .

F'ucked off with all this sh'ite about Carrol being loaned out and even more f'ucked off with our new "manager" for even entertaining the idea .

Carrol's never been my favourite (probably never will be) but back end of last season the fella started finally to show some form and had me thinking he's at least worth a place in the squad.

Now apparently he's not gonna be given a chance to build on his upturn in form, instead he's gotta a big "for sale or loan at a knock down price" hung around his neck.

Think it's shoddy treatment of the fella , wouldn't suprise me if he moved on and started scoring for fun.

Having let him go on the cheap we'll then look like even bigger mugs than the day we f'ucking signed him.  :veryangry

I don't actually read your posts ,but thanks for your 'as always' valued input .... You do seem to have trouble adapting when its not a discussion
about tactics ,maybe you should avoid the passionate stuff in the future mate ?

I would advise people not to get too wound up by all this.
Unfortunately the media have got it in for us and any chance they get they take the pi'ss. I personally can wait to see what happens.
If Carroll stays I will be glad because he has finally shown some signs of what he is capable of. If he goes I will be disappointed and annoyed because of the same reason

I don't think he is going anywhere but he is getting just about the biggest long needed kick up the ars.e that should have been administered with venom over 12 months ago !! I just hope all this transfer talk to sh.it teams like West Ham actually reminds Andy just who the fk he plays for. We need a lot more from him than half a dozen reasonable performances at the end of the season!
Net Spend Over The Last 5 Years 20/21 to 24/25  (10 years
are in brackets 15/16 to 24/25 )
LFC €300m (€420m)
Everton +€33m (€211m)
Arsenal €557m (€853m)
Spurs €571m (€684m)
Chelsea €945m (€1051m)
Man City €370m (€1038m)
Man United €687m (€1240m)

it`s blatantly obvious that the manager doesnt see carroll as part of his future plans, there is no way this is some sort of elaborate ruse to try and get more out of carroll.
if it was a bluff why only single carroll out? most of the squad needs a kick up the @rse, at least carroll upped his game and finished the season showing heart and determination, the likes of downing looked like he couldnt give a sh*te

Rodgers has already stated in front of TV cameras that Carroll won't be going out on loan. Not once have I seen him state that a loan move is an option.
