there's obviously no point trying to argue it with you, so i can only suggest that you go back and watch again the last few games that carroll played in. maybe, just maybe, you'll actually be able to see something through the mist of preconceptions.

What about all the other games, though a few games does nto a player make. Carroll is an extremely limited player, having said that if we don't get a decent price for him then I'd like to see him as an impact sub for us but I reckon that chance has gone now.
BTW Benny is annoying becuase he's like a broken record, just harpin gon about the same thing all the time, Yeah I know I'm the same. :-)

I'm not the biggest fan of Ba.  He started well when their entire attack was based around him, but when Cisse came in he only scored like 2 goals in the second half of the season.  Don't think he'd fit in here at all, and he's got some shoddy knees.

Been away on a short holiday so missed all the guff about Carrol being moved on.

Surprised to see how many of us in here are more than happy to let him walk.

Sure, up until now he's not been worth the money we paid for him BUT the fella was putting in some good performances towards the back end of last season and showed glimpses of what he's capable of.

His header in the Euros was absolutely top drawer, got a feeling that letting him go at this stage in his career will one day bite us in the a'rse.

What worries me more than Andy C's lack of impact so far at LFC is our new managers assertion that he can't use him  :( .

I'm struggling with this one. The lad actually start to show significant improvement and demonstrate that there is more to him than simply Stoke style football and we decide to take a £15/20m loss. There's more to this than Rogers's simply not thinking he will fit in his plans. Carroll had an awful first 15 months with Liverpool but did he really show more or less potential than Downing and yet there is no word of us getting rid of him.Is Roger's giving him a massive kick up the ars.e and reminding him of just who he plays for?
Net Spend Over The Last 5 Years 20/21 to 24/25  (10 years
are in brackets 15/16 to 24/25 )
LFC €300m (€420m)
Everton +€33m (€211m)
Arsenal €557m (€853m)
Spurs €571m (€684m)
Chelsea €945m (€1051m)
Man City €370m (€1038m)
Man United €687m (€1240m)

If he's better than Ibrahimovitch then it's a wonder he's not being chased by several top clubs like Barca, Real Madrid etc etc. The truth is that he has very poor mobility and very poor ball skills and to be honest he's not that accurate at heading either, in summary he's not a very good striker and won't be much missed by me.

Mate Andy has one of the best touches as a striker especially for a big man. He has tremendous Power in his left foot and The direction of his headers are second to none.

Milan are after him - I think they are a top team. I think they also just got rid of Ibrahimovic as well.

dont see what the attraction is with ibrahimovich at all and would much rather carroll.
ive never really seen much of him outside internationals or cl but from the games i did he wasnt anything special.massively overated imo and wouldnt cope with the prem league as any time he has faced english opposition he was a massive let down.
the silliest deal i ever heard of was the one that took him to barca for a reported samuel eto and 40 mil.
he didnt last there long either and now psg is his 5th club in 6 years. :wwww

Ibrahimovic goalscoring record is a goal every other game - its a great record. He also won a league title 7 seasons in a row ! He is a fantastic flat track bully who goes missing

You should watch more football then. He is a great striker and would be a great striker in the premier league as well. Certainly a lot better than andy carroll.

I doubt if Ibrahimovitch would do well in the PL. I dont know whether Carroll is better (matter of opinion) but I would rather have him than Ibrahimovitch any day.
And as far as his record is concerned dont forget Djimi Traore won a CL medal...

i watch plenty of football lad but just not every game ibrahimovich plays and i doubt that you do either.
ive seen enough to form an opinion that he wouldnt cut it in the prem and isnt a strong team player but a more selfish glory hunter which would probably explain why he hasnt settled in the last 6 years at any club.
last season was a career best for him but yet milan with no hesitation went and sold him despite him only signing a 4 yr deal the previous summer.
do you think they sold him because they need money?
