Andy Carroll signs for West Ham

You cant force aa square peg into a round hole. If BR doesn't want him then move him on. Arguing whether he's worth 15 or 20 million is semantics, put the money in the bank and decide what players we DO need to complete the new style. Again there are 2 separate issues, the team plan and finance and the two have to be kept separate.

I'd say Rogers should be the one getting priority to prove himself not Carroll. If BR f.ucks up in a big way by selling him at a big loss & Carroll becomes top scorer we will have plenty to talk about then.

would also go one further and loan out Henderson or downing to make way for Aquilani or Cole. That would light a fire under Their a.rse.

If he isnt giving Carroll a chance then ill find that slightly odd. I mean imagine if some supporters got on his back before making a signing or playing a game wouldnt really be right

very true Reg. Take the cash, invest it into a player who can play the style!

Danny Graham is a big centre forward, he played well last season playing the Swansea way, why can't Carroll? The guys unplayable on his day.

Big mistake becoming a 1 dimensional team!

But why would we accept such a big loss on him, he is now a full England international, why when we are buying 'English' players we have to pay over the odds but when we sell them we are expected to accept sh!t money. I say no, if anyone wants him they have to pay much nearer what we did, especially Newcastle. If not give him a season, se wehat he can do under BR, he may surprise him.

We HAVE to take a big loss on him because we paid 15 million more than he's valued at and the transfer market is up shitcreek in case you hadn't noticed in line with the global economy.

I don't understand all the pleas for giving him another season, its clear he doesn't fit in with Suarez.

Rush, Owen, Fowler, Torres are all natural gifted footballers good with their feet, nippy and able to turn on a sixpence to get round defenders and send the ball through the tightest of gaps into the back of the net. They had vision, natural ball skills and were aggressively goal hungry. Thats never going to be Carroll. He should be playing rugby.

Its not really hard to understand. If we buy a player from a club that dont want to sell we have to pay a high price to convince them to sell. When we want to get rid of a player we dont want, we cant expect to get a high price for him.

I dont see why we would waste wages on Carroll if B-rod does not want him. Its not like he will be worth more next year if he spends a season rotting away on the bench.

How does he know he does not want him? he hasnt even tried to see if andy can fit in! If after the usa tour he says

"i tried and andy does not work"

Then fine, Who next Carra? im sure he fits the "style" We are talking about this style of play that he wants to use and anyone that he deems unable to play in that way (with or without seeing him) should be bombed out? Good bye half the squad

I wont be surprised if we get rid of Carra when his contract is up (Next season?).

for me it's simple. stump up the cash which liverpool fc find an acceptable amount for the player and he'll be off.

he was never going to be allowed to go on loan in a million years, despite what any of the papers may have you believe.
