even so there`s a hell of a lot of difference between going to france and uruguay, a round trip to uruguay is something like 16,000 miles. you cant expect rodgers to go halfway around the world to speak to one player. i doubt luis is suddenly going to feel insulted and leave over that. infact luis is probably made up that rodgers is allowing him to go to the olympics. not that many managers would allow their star player to miss most of pre season and a couple of early games for a tournament that doesnt carry much prestige in footy. luis isnt soft, he knows that if his form or fitness dramatically drops off through the season then everyone will be putting it down to him not having a proper pre season and rodgers will cop a lot of flak for not being strong enough and insiting luis does whats best for LFC and not uruguay. we all know luis works his @rse off and gives nothing less than 100% and try`s just as hard for us as he does for his country but if he does have a dip in form thats how the press will write it up.
luis knows rodgers has gone out on a limb for him so i reckon their relationship will be quite good.

Wonder how BR's gonna setup as 4-3-3...

Are you seriously saying that it is the lack of support from the supporters that is to blame if BR fails?
It's apressure cooker being a manager at LFC and if you sit 10th half way through the seaosn you'll be roasted.
That is how it will be no matter what, right or wrong.

Oh right so supporters have no influence on the media, the players or the manager?
Lets not worry if people call for his head and theres a split in the fanbase then because it wont make any difference

dempsey will be in the front 3 and i reckon we`ll sign another midfielder, gerrard will drop into midfield to form a 3 with lucas and the new signing probably at the expense of henderson and aquilani. apart from those 2 changes thats pretty much the starting XI as i see it as well.
