Anyway, dawn of a new day, hopefully a dawn of a new era at the club under our new manager.
Good luck, Brendan. Wishing you many successful days (daren't think about years, yet!) at the club

The fact that Mourinho (arguably the best manager in the world) has come out and said it's a good appointment gives me that extra bit of confidence in his appointment. I just hope that Brendan has time to improve the squad, I am bit worried that if Rodgers struggles in his first season that it could be curtains for him. FSG have shown they are businessmen first and foremost and this worries me as they were extremely quick to wield the axe with Kenny.

lets be honest, they didn't really want Kenny long term, he was brought in as caretaker after RH and was swept into the full time position by how we finished that season and with the support of the fans, if you remember they took a while to give him the perminant position. what they are doing now was probably what they wanted to do last year.

but you forget that since 1990 he has been friends with.....Rupert murdoch, in 2009 he told Murdoch that the Conservative Party needed his backing. and Whelan in 2008 donated £250,000 to the Conservative Party.
