I hear ya benny, its fine if you want Rafa back and you have your reasons for that, but setting up a website to pressure the owners is silly and idiotic IMO

Its pathetic to be honest.

I'm with Tony Barrett on this one. His tweets yesterday -

"@TonyBarretTimes: I'm not sure campaigns for particular managers is the way forward. For me, owners should stand & fall by their own decisions."

"@TonyBarretTimes: The worst thing an owner could do is appoint a manager they don't want due to fans pressure. Recipe for disaster."

Hmmmm bit of a strange one this. In reality there is no reason whatsoever that supporters (the people who pay to watch their team and will be there long after owners have gone) shouldnt have a say in what happens to their club. A group of fans representatives should be in constant dialogue with club officials in order to keep good communication going and to find out if decisions being made on behalf of supporters is actally agreeable to those same people.
However, we have a strange custom in this country whereby some supporters believe they or any other supporters should have no say in the decision making process and it should be left to strangers who have no real emotional connection to their club.
It is both amusing and disappointing that some supporters actually become angry and say personal and offensive comments to others who want to be consulted in some capacity by the current custodians of LFC
:nod[/quote]
Gotta say it.  I completely disagree with you.  As far as relations with the supporters, it should be open to hear their say regarding Stadium and Ticketing issues, as far as the actual running of the club and who should be doing it?  Supporters should deffo not be involved in the decision making process.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

2 things....

1)  The Rafa site is pathetic.

2)  Fair play to SOS.  All they're doing is trying to make sure the club is being run properly and for the right reasons.  And lets be honest, FSG have been here for about 18 months and half of our staff have been sacked.  Us fan's have no idea whats going on at the club.

Hoping to hear something soon but im glad SOS are asking questions.

Asking questions and not getting answers is bad. It shows disrespect and ignorance
If FSG want to prove theyre different to other owners then they should get supporters on board and have real engagement and true consultation
At this moment I cant see it?

What exactly do supporters know about running a club ?

SOS are a very small minority of fans I'm afraid and they can stamp their feet as much as they want but the owners are under no obligation to speak to them at all.

A fans group was set up and meets with Ian Ayre etc - they were invited to ask to be on that group.

That website is frankly pathetic and embaressing and currently rival fans are laughing their heads at us because of it.

its a bit like when you local council ask for your views on something in your area.......means nothing in the end and they will still do what they wish.

Im going to give the owners the benefit of the doubt and assume they are very busy trying to fill vacancies around the club.
I think we might be in for a very big announcement soon enough concerning the new manager and DOF.  (Im hoping)

We wanted Kenny and it didn't work, I'm not happy with the wa it all happened but it did. Now we call for Rafa, what if that doesn't work? Turn on them again?

This is getting ridiculous, I support LFC and would rather let the owners run the club their way than having the ideas of fans rammed down their throats. Just let them get on with it FFS
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

I concur, some of the behaviour and some attitudes amongst Liverpool supporters is deeply embarrassing. Supporters have no right to demand an input on club decisions, nor should they. Supporters should do what they do best, support and let the businessmen get on with running the club.
