benitez for me out of that lot.
that article above that says "the next man will be here for 4-5 years" combined with "over 30 mil to spend" makes me think were getting a yes man :help .

With talk of the appointment of the likes of Cryuff or Begiristian, it would not surprise me if FSG will look at candidates such as Klinsmann, Joachim Low, Capello or van Marwiyk or van Gaal, who most have worked under a DoF at R.Madrid, B.Munich or Barca.

My money is on Klinsmann, who is "youngish" & have an "out of the box" ideology towards coaching, which is really up FSG's alley. With a long shot at AVB.

you would have to assume it was.
only problem is though that the ones that are worth anything we need to keep.
we would be lucky to raise 15-20 from player sales unless they try to offload pepe or luis.

Great to see a dutch duo of Cruyff as DOF and Van Gaal as manager

and to cap it off sign Van Persie and Robben

I'd start to play to lottery more if you think we have a chance (regardless of the management team) of signing Van Persie or Robben.

Between comments stating that only Mourinho would be good enough for this club and people actually turning there nose up at a starting transfer kitty of £30m  - especially after the fortune we dished out last summer - some of you need to have a serious word with yourselves.  :no

no ones mentioned mourinho, no one apart from the fifa 09 whoppers want that *********
plus rafa had about 30m to spend in a good season, lets see how the new fella does with that type of budget, lets see if he gets us to 2 CL finals, another semi final, an f.a cup final, a league cup final, a world club final and 2nd place in the league with our highest points total ever as well

This Jurgen Klopp dude at Dortmund has shortened from 20/1 to "16/1" with PaddyPower. Interesting. Klopp at the Kop.
He has an very impressive record in the last 2 seasons as Champions in germany with Dortmund...

Also Rijkaard and Deschamps shortening this morning.

Martinez and Rogers Drifting..... pphhfew... Thank Fooook for that  :buttrock

One thing we need to do is get the manager in asap, so we can buy some quality players.
We dont need appointing in the 3rd week of August with transfer time running out.

sorry the Mourinho comments were in a different thread. The man is quite simply an encapsulation of everything that is wrong with modern football. Id prefer to see the club rebuild slowly an steadily over ten years with the right man at the helm rather than be challenging for the title in two by throwing hundreds of millions at it while our club is degraded daily by Jose's relentless arrogance and unstoppable mouth.
